I was out mining when I came across a multitude of umbranoids where formerly there had been only little birdies. There seemed to be some kind of dark orb in the middle of the valley, but I never got close enough to get a good pic.
Not only that, but instead of only carrying daggers like they used to, they had all kinds of weapons and even pieces of armour!
Too bad they didn't loot any of the stuff they were equipped with - like one of those whips...
A little later I came across their settlement, which was now deserted. The signs were still up, but not an umbranoid to be seen.
