Question: 20 swords, 1 amp, itemization .... and just for europeans :-)

I was logging in in the minutes after release of Mayhem vendor update.

saw the new items, love many of them and i looked at the new swords
tehy are interesting, first time we see a 100+ base damage (apart from MA officers)
then i saw Captain Jack HOF on the Trauma 5 Mayhem amp.

took me some minute to realize that new Mayhem amp are not like old trauma and
that a trauma 1 mayhem is already bigger than a FEN 10 amp.

then i wanted to see stats of trauma 5 mayhem and i realized that only one was
in vendor.

To avoid Ludwig axe on the text, i dont blame jack, i dont care at all of who has it,
it firts 5 weapon in game (old old school ones) and he has all the rights to buy it.

i was thinking mainly to 2 thingsw
1. L140 swords are 20 and just 1 top amo 10 second line (i know they will remain
on the vendor for a long time, swordmen that can wield it are limited in number)
2. a poor american player with his "master guard spiked club" had no chances
just because he was sleeping in the moment of release, so no way he can even
see the item in the vendor ar take it

Jack, i got nothing against you, really, i love uyor sales threads, they seem a old
"barnum circus" advertising, extremely funny.

so i will say that this happens to the MF amp too... one for probably 100 arso chip
that can use it in game.

i could see also that claws has 55 damage so it is not fitting a Trauma 6 amp.....
maybe the dev team does not know the 50% rule and want to make the poor
claw loose DPP with a 0.5 overamp

Last but not least the Pimped azuro, that has 3 damge so its not getting the
"sinkadus" as an amp... damn for 3 RARE token could have 6 damage and
be fitting an A101 to make it or at least 4 to use sinkadus... nope.....
3 damage so amping is 1.55.... B101 all the way if anyone takes it.

Just to pose a note, was just wondering how small things could be even better
i love this upgrade, i lovge the new mayhem system and i am ready to shot all
of my ammo and more int he istances. just some thing could be better,.
and i hope that items are restocked not because i can use them ( i cant)
but to give people that can use those the chance to upgrade even if they
do not have an insomnia disease.
 
This new addition of mayhem weapons will just make good to those that now could buy for a decent price a UL weapon. Prices on old UL weapons went beyond the limits. As far as what you say about Jack i have to say that 1st come 1st served. All knew what will be on vendor when MA posted the update, you just had to have the tokens. I feel some jealousy out there.
 
@ unfain8 sorry man we dont know eachother i am many things but jealous. my only problem is to pretend to have a functional brain.
@ messi91 fair enough, many people has a real life job, or a family and this poses imbalances but i get the point
@ living tribunal as long as they loose their 1...3% in cost, the less they "sleep" the more food for the server hamsters

as a side note, there are almost 50 lower level items, i wonder if all ppl that lamented that thre was no way to obtain Myhem or fen items will find a new way to moan or now are happy.

Explain those sentences one more time, please
 
There were 10 trauma 5 amps in vendor. They do not give any rare loot hofs though so just the first showed up.

I managed to get one and I do not live in Europe.

I don't understand why you have huge need to write long posts, I am just replying to tell you they will restock it again, so no worries, sit on your tokens and wait for next batch before xmas :)

Sry Messi but even you have to admit its a wierd way of MA...
 
hijacker i am pretty sure that if you got one were restocked after some time
i am old and kinda brain damaged but can see the number 0 (zero) pretty clearly
i am VERY happy that this has been fixed so also other can have access to items.
and even more if adding one after another was planned to avoid early bird to dry
the vendor.
and to reiterate i am not interested in that item, i am in some other and will grind
toward them being WELL aware that first comes first served.

There were 10, but were ALL sold within a few mins of vendor initially being restocked.

Well Mindark has some tough choices to make.. Restock will make them less rare, and other items feel more obsolete. I have a trauma 7 myself, with each restock my markup diminishes. I don't care much about it, I will keep using it, but other more "invested" parties might feel fckd if Mindark keeps restocking over and over. Maybe they should have opened the vendor after the event was over. But then again, these tokens were already payed for with blood sweat and maybe even some tears.

I've always been out of sync with VU content because of my time zone. It sucks but if Mindark were based in the US or Australia then other people would be just as out of sync in other parts of the world. They've never been large enough to manage new content rollouts in a way that all time zones have ae equal chance nor would I expect them too. There is another MMO I participate in with a different content rollout model and people will set their alarms and wake up to be part of a clickfest to get the items/ships they want no matter the time zone they are in as it progresses over a day or number of days. Not everyone gets the uber items or ships they want even when they are online at the time of release.

If I had the tokens I might have taken Tuesday off of work and gotten up extra early to check things out once the VU was implemented just knowing how things have rolled out in the past. It's not worth stressing over in my opinion.

literally just set and alarm and wake up..
 
I set an alarm for weeks straight for server reboot just to get divine chip from divine proteron spawning only after server reboots in the middle of the night (my time zone). I'm sure dedicated people can do the same for one night.
