This seems to be buged for me, it does only count all stones I get from my first excavation. So finding a bigger deposit will not count all stones.

Not sure about Calypso team intention, it seems they want to split (or move completely?) the newcomers into 2 streams, Camp Icarus and Half Moon Bay:

Welcome to Half Moon Bay! - Foreman Sanders - no reward

Sand Demons (Kill 8 Sabakuma, recover the Detectonator) - Foreman Sanders - reward 0.7 ped ammo prior and anatomy skill at end

Kill It With Fire (Find the Nest; Kill the Broodmother) - Foreman Sanders - some ammo prior and Bukin Blade 0.5 PED at the end; the Broodmother is inside the cave around the small lake, have to wait to shoot it (only 1 at a time, lots of players around). Did not tried to kill it with proper fire :)

* a little bug here, as next mission appears when returning to Sanders but is not active - talk with the next NPC

Mutant Incursion (Talk to Darcy; Get 3 Maffoid Heads) - Technician Larchi - reward 1.5PED ammo prior and CDF Armor Voucher (mission item) from Darcy; at the end can be exchanged for a CDF Scout part (I got Harness) in mission

The Armor Voucher (Deliver the voucher) - Darcy

The Medical Supplies (Find The Case) - Courier Doda - reward 0.1 PED ammo - cannot remember where this guy was, anyhow along the way

At this point Kim was fooling around showing off his brand new heli, he confirmed the ammo reward is right. Farmers, be our guests. Along the way another NPC giving:

Be Gone, Pests! (Kill 20 Puny Creatures) - Surveyor Sussi - reward 0.16 PED ammo - puny cornudos are counting on this mission but not on the main iron puny. Kim said that maybe he will include all punies into the iron mission, seeing the reward is almost none.

Close to Corinth another NPC

Energy Readings (Send Data) - Electrician Derek - reward Engineering skill as said, negligible.

At Corinth, lag fest, goodbye old quiet area :)).

I choose Daily Hunter Category 1: 10 Chirppy :lolup:. Believe me it took me 1 hour to find 10 chirpies, seems gibnib ate them all.

Daily Hunter Category 2: 80 Harbinger - yeah right... will wait to see if expires on its own. (edit: will not, stays active until completed or abandoned according with devs)

The guns offered as reward are looking nice, gives more DPS at very low levels, depends of the decay.

The Maffoid Iron NPC is inside the orange Bar. Indeed the area remember me not only of the bar at PA, but of the old Calypso Gateway, as someone mentioned. Still looking for the Nova NPC to take back my achievement :)

BUGS Maffoid heads cannot be TT-ed, but are 2 pec in value

Yesterday I got:

Cat. 3 - kill 50 kretlin - abandoned as I had no plans to leave planet currently

Mining - 313 copper stones

Crafting - 53 clicks of settler arms - abandon

Today I picked up:

Cat. 1 - loot a lpr-3 - ugh

Cat. 3 - kill 50 hispidus

Crafting: pall stool - 29 clicks

I also have reports of:

Looks like you get 1 token for cat.1 , 2 for 2, 3 for 3. Crafting looks to be 2 tokens, probably mining also 2

How does this work? I can't enter the cave.

You just go where the marker points, seems you hit the area but there is some bug.

Is a common instance, and seeing how things are going lately I would not be surprised that some avas are blocking the entrance area on the other side so they can sweat the boss mob.
