Guess what time it is!
It's time for another glorious Fatty Event to almost be upon us!
Ever wanted to run around a maze of shipping containers looking for oil while being shot at?
Nothing gets the blood pumping more than that! So, on September 1st (LABOR DAY for US players) at 19:00 Server, we will be warping people with the Starfinder XXXIII to Rocktropia from wherever they are (Be sure you're on the guest list by sending a friend request to Red Wolf Rafier Or KOSLOUSKI SSGODGOKU785 GOKU). At 20:00 Server Time, we start the event at the Gas and Go Docks on RT! Then we just run around collecting oil while avoiding death! IT'S SUPER FUN, TRUST ME!
What does this entail? The Gas and Go Go Go Rumble on Rocktropia is technically a PVP event, but engaging with the other players in PVP is completely optional. Only the sniper(s) will be required to shoot at people, and they will be far above the field in the crow's nests. Yours truly will be healing as field medic to try and keep everyone alive. We may also have a stationary medic who can top people off as they respawn after dying. All parties who assist in the event will be compensated, of course, so if you are interested in being a healer or a sniper, let me know. Positions are limited and will fill fast, but you may as well try, because you never know. Think of it as free skills!
Like last year, we will be giving prizes to those who collect and trade Fatty Crude Oil after the event. We will be tracking how much oil each person picks up via team chat. Maybe there will be multiple prize choices like at an arcade. 25 Crude Oil gets you 25k Welding Wire, 50 Crude Oil gets you an RK-25, 100 Crude Oil gets you a Strider Mk II, which you can use to climb cliffs and mountains!!! Truly you will be able to Go Go Go!
RULES:
1) Snipers must use either a TT Rifle or low dps Rifle that does no more than 10 dps or uses no more than 20 PEC per shot. This is to be able to get as much out of the event as we can for as little as possible.
2) Snipers must NOT shoot at each other. You are a team. Focus on the other participants.
3) Snipers are also not allowed to shoot the healers. They are also part of the team, even though they have the opposite goal. Ultimately the main goal is to have fun, and they do share that goal with you.
4) Healers will use a low level heal tool with total value of no more than 35 PED, preferably a very efficient one at that. I will be covering the decay, but we want to be as cheap as possible for obvious reasons.
5) As mentioned, PVP is optional for non-snipers/healers. Snipers must PVP and healers must NOT PVP.
6) If you die, resurrect and wait to be healed before proceeding back into the field unless you want to heal yourself up to get back in faster. Just keep in mind your healing costs will NOT be covered by the event host unless you are a healer (in which case, HOW DID YOU DIE?!).
