This is correct, MA support has confirmed that a pirate pretending to offer a transport service for the purpose of tricking you into a lootable zone violates the EULA. This kind of deception is not considered "legal" tactics.
 
so people that were enticed to be scumbag thieves using MA's shitty bugged system, and have been using exploits all along, that have been mostly ignored by MA, have found an even better way to steal by exploiting the poorly built system and people are surprised?? :laugh::laugh:

If this scammers does not get a perm ban I will withdraw all my peds even if will have to TT my loot and all items .... Lock theyr accounts fast MA...or you will see other depositers following withdraw tactic...Cheers

tbh, I could care less if they get banned or not. What's important is that MA reverses trades and compensates 100% losses.

If they permaban, patch up the summons loophole, and then not compensate, then there's no point really.

There will always be another exploit, and people will get robbed again from that exploit - who cares if there's a permaban if no one gets their peds back?! It gives a higher incentive for people to go out, scam people, launder the peds, and not even care about their permaban because they'll just move on to another scam with a new avatar.
 
I practiced in RL boxing....where is the fairplay rule in this game?
Btw Pirates ...If I pay a fee for TP down is not like paying a fee to MS owners who grants a safe transport?...TP down is 7 ped fee....Ms owners fee is from 5-30 ped....If I pay 30 ped should be a 100% safe transport like TP down witch is 7 ped?

If I had the option to TP from SS to another SS paying a fee to MA nobody today was using the MS transport service!!! As long the log off option is safe like TP down (where we pay a fee) we have to use this option for 100% safe transport and the warp fee sometimes goes even higher then 30 peds ( MA charge only 7 ped for 100% safe right?) ....You will call that a player use TP down exploits the game?....As long I pay a fee my transport should be 100& safe like TP down...Cheers!!

I was thinking the same thing, no coincidence the exploiters chose to do this on a weekend, theyre probably hoping that MA will not do anything before monday earliest
 
One eyeopening example of what happens to players who get away with exploiting the game again and again going every time a little step further...
There is a reason to uphold game rules and enforce them - cause if you dont you will have anarchy sooner or later.
Some 'pirates' by now have reached the point where their perception of right and wrong is far off from that of the average player...
 
Turn lootable pvp off in space, while the devs can figure out this new mess.

I am with you in this star , I have had enough of the ridiculous amounts.of scams and exploits , if.nothing gets done about it I know I will find better things to invest my time and money into

Not.that one customer to mindark will make a ripple , but I'm sure if this continues one will become tens or.hundreds
 
Criminal activity shud be adressed by higher authority then MA as MA is guilty too by creating funcitons and enviroment wich promote such activity.
 
I hope MA would do like police sometimes do with drug dealers - they repossess their house and put it up for auction. :lolup:

Several members of The Knights of Entropia also received a summons from this known pirate - myself included - I only got the msg once and closed it before I thought to take a screenie and file a support case.

Tactics like this should not be tolerated by MA and this person should have their account locked immediately!

I have never accepted this person as a friend nor would I accept an invite to board their vessel.

I'm all for fare game play in space.. but this is a sneaky way to get innocent ppl into space and steal from them.

Listen to your customers MA and take action NOW - make an example of this scum.

This sucks, someones don't have any moral at all.

Problem is, even if MA have function that required to players to say "yes" when added to a guest list, the chance is it the problem will still be their, because as easy that new players say yes to the summon, they also can say yes to the guest list request. It's give more security, but will not totally solve the problem.

Maybe some players can put together a space deference force and shoot the pirate shops down. :silly2:
 
Since windy was kind enough (stupid enough:dunce:) to give me access to his ship, I took the opportunity to go onboard to see what his ships SI is. Its a miserable 532 per section which means its got less SI than a quad!:laugh:

So anyone who sees Starfinder XXXII cruising about in PVP space, feel free to blow it up - its really easy :)

There is one, and talk of a second.
The issue is that the way they are doing this makes it hard to actually stop them. As i said before, they fly out with the starfinder32, it having only an RK5 click of life, and just blow it up to immediately start shooting people. The only way to stop them would be to outnumber them by a minimum of two to one, and kill the bodies instead so you can return their loot at the SS. Which is an option thats actually being seriously considered.
 
I'm not sure if it can prevent summonning but when I try to go to space with stackables in my VTOL, the system refuses with this message:

So if someone wants to try and confirm it works with summons, it could be a workaround before MA allows us to remove from pirate lists.

This sounds like a good idea till it gets fixed..hope it works to keep him from being able to summon peeps

Happened to me the other day, but luckily was on the Normandie. I was able to get off by using the TP... only thing was I lost 7 peds to get back to calypso

While you just can't fly (or spawn) a vehicle in space if it contains stackables, you can certainly carry one that does. So just carrying a vehicle containing stackables won't prevent summoning.
 
Re-Imburse fully those defrauded of their goods by this latest criminal pirate activity

Mind Ark please take heed. Several EU players have told me they will not deposit until the victims of the pirate fraud summoning scheme have been fully re-reimbursed. It is not sufficient to permanently ban all involved in this fraud (which of course you must do). It is imperative that all victims are compensated fully for their losses.

Windy just added me to the ship a minute ago. From what I understand (from chatting in Nea), alot of people getting added.

This better be fixed fast before everyone stops hunting and doing other activities.
