Advice on the next steps.

Hello PCF,

I'm looking for some advice on what steps to take next, I'll try fill in as much info as I can, however I'm also looking for future proofing myself where possible.

I'm at a bit of an impasse with what UL weapon to buy.

Laser rifle/Pistol are both around L55 hit+dmg, BLP is slightly below ~50.

Melee i'd have to guestimate around 28-30 on both LB/SB for now (Working on training this up as I've read about philo sword?)

MF, I have no idea because i've never touched it.


Financial wise - I can probably drop ~10-15K on this weapon/setup, (Yes, i know, it's peanuts, but i've seen the prices of things fall drastically during my time away so maybe?)
I could push this higher for the right weapon/setup if it means not playing for a few weeks.


Basically, I come to PCF to request some guidance on what weapons are in/around my level or slightly above, that will aid me in not losing all my PED to ArMatrix MU as I like to play a-lot when the loot isn't breaking my PED card.

Opinions/Advice on a weapon I could either use now, or in the future would both be greatly appreciated - my current eye-sight is on a UL EWE-41 Military with a mod a105, cheap + cheerful, however if there are other alternatives to this, or a weapon I should skill to with MF/Melee that has higher Eff/DPP I'm open to all suggestions + will be spending time looking myself also.

Hey Amigo,

Depends on what (HP) mobs you like to hunt, UL EWE LC 100 (2.5k ped) was my goto for years. The UL EWE 41-Mil would be one step up in damage. Great choice.

If you want to hunt around and below 1k hp mobs i would choose a UL LR-20 Adj (8k ped) with 70% eff.
If you want more damage you can take a look at Zorra HK. Add the appropiate UL amps to these weapons and you got a nice setup.

Myself chose to go for a BC30-Mod with 83% eff, back then it went for 26k, its now going for around 18k ped depending on tier.

Philo sword is not worth the ped, better buy the best variation, the Archon sword with a UL trauma 4 amp. (3k for sword and amp)

If you can stretch to 25-30k you can buy a lp-40 perfected (maybe even cheaper) during the UL restocks of the final time of the mayhem vendor
look mayhem vendor changes and on entropiawiki for it stats.

Best weapon for your lvl and budget longterm because of its high efficiency, you can reach higher looter lvl with it.
In your position this is what I would do for next UL.
Now for melee you can get an exceptional lb-40 it will last you a very long time. And once you get higher lvls you can get exceptional lp-120 perfected for higher dps in events.

Build bankroll by going for MU with lp-40 perfected and eventually upgrade if you wish.
