You thought that by Competing in the WoF of Nations, by representing a country of a planet you no longer belong to would give you glory and fame. But you got nothing for the PEDs wasted... because Earth does not care about you anymore...

Calypso is your new home, Calypso is ours !!!

But we live on two continents and the WoF has shown that we are not united in Spirit and Mind and Courage and Honour.

There can be only one rule over Calypso, be it the citizens of Amethera or Eudoria. Since we can not agree by a peaceful means, we shall decide the fate of our planet by sheding blood... The blood of Mobs... Let the hunting Trophies decide, who is worthy to be called the REAL WoF Champion !!!
Amethera has beaten Eudoria in the WoF 2010 but we will grant them one last chance to prove that they are not whimps...

Your Day of Reckoning draws near!

I am proud to invite you, along with your Calypso compatriates and most deadly of rivals Eudoria, to take part in the first-ever matches of the Calypso Cup.

The Calypso Cup is a WoF-Style Grudge Match that features only the Teams of Amethera and Eudoria, the two 'local' teams of the WoF throughout it's history.

This is a WoF-Affiliated Event and as such, winning each year can contribute 1 point to your Team's All-Time Standing on the soon-to-be-posted Gloryboard; where the achievements and ranking of each team to take part in the WoF will be there for all to see.

It falls on your Team to decide dates, and more: (read on) and also to recruit and reinforce your team ready for the two hunts that will decide.... the Calypso Cup!



Calypso Cup Specs:

2-Match event, 2 hours each match, one-on-one, both scores combine to provide the winner.

Bonuses: Loot (15) Variety (10-25-50) Bonus Mob (25)

Main Team: 4 hunters. Mobs: 4, split for maturity on 2 of them. Scores 5,6,7,8,9+10.
Support: Infinite. Mobs: 3, split for maturity on 1 of them. Scores 1,2,3+4.




Dates:

Match 1: (YOU DECIDE WITH YOUR OPPONENTS)

Sunday November 7th OR Sunday November 14th

Time to be agreed.

Match 2: (YOU DECIDE WITH YOUR OPPONENTS)

Sunday November 21st OR Sunday NOvember 28th

Time to be agreed.

Moblists:​

Here's the biggest difference to the WoF itself.


Match 1: Eudoria, as highest ranking team historically, have first choice.

Yes, the team picks the Moblist.

Match 2: Amethera's choice.


Making your moblists:

The Moblist MUST follow the pattern of the majority of previous WoF moblists:

Main: 4 Mobs. 6 scores (5,6,7,8,9,10) so 2 mobs need to be split maturities and 2 need to be all maturities.
Combinations have been:
Mob A 10+5 points, Mob B 9+6 points, Mob C+D=7+8 points.
or
Mob A 10 points, Mob B 9+7 points, Mob C 8+6 points, Mob D 5 points...

Other combinations also work, you get the idea.


Restrictions:

For the purpose of the Calypso Cup the following Mobs are NOT PERMITTED on your suggested Moblists:

Turp
Gibnib
Chirpy
Fugabarba
Osseoculum
Daspletor
Araneatrox (except as "All Maturities")
Warlock
Any Event Mobs (Big Bulk, Eomon, Longtooth)

Any Mobs not found planet-side (CP, CND or RockTropia; not allowed).

That's pretty much it.

Remember, it's TWO 2-Hour Matches. Judges shall be in attendance. Start Point to be announced.


Please contact your opponents to sort things out, and have your Moblist sent to myself or Rayne Jade for approval by the end of October.
