An error occurred when trying to download a file.

I had to reload EU on my comp and so I go to the EU website and download the client loader and install. It then tries to download the game files but times out with:

An error occurred when trying to download a file.

The error code is:
entropia_universe_10.3.0.36270_setup.exe

Has anyone seen/fixed this? Has anyone done a fresh install in the last couple days? My internet works fine and it's been like this for several hours?

Sounds like just another way MA has made it so people cant log in to sell out

Hmm,
I just wanted to install the game again. (Took a break lately) and I get the same error.

An error occurred when trying to download a file.

and then the setup file displays as error. seems something is missing on server? :scratch2:

Edit:
I had delete the instructions.XLM file in
C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Local Settings\Temp\entropia
replace user name with your name
Only do this if the loader quits after the EULA

If it updates a few patches on load you should be OK
it will download & install these patches (found them in the temp dir)

wow that was one hell of mini updates; took long, and about 550MB memory. But atleast it's running now. Segna still looks white, and it's night at atlas haven at the moment.
