Animal Taming not an unlockable anymore?

sorry if this is well known, i did search but not found it discussed anywhere...

i just noticed that i have animal taming unlocked, and i had it locked in 9.4
i have never done any taming-related activity, and i have not got any "unlock" message. the skill is simply there, out of nowhere.

Taming, and a few other things, have been disabled in this initial phase of the EU10 rollout... could be related to that.

There is a possibility that taming is being reworked, based on what FPC have indicated, but nothing is confirmed yet.

Actually, I just strangely unlocked taming 2 days ago
while hunting some feffs near Fort Fury,
so Animal Taming is still available to unlock!
It's just not available to use.

Perhaps they simply removed the requirement that you unlock a skill by doing the profession that unlocks it?

If you get close to an unlock, try and reach the magic level by another profession to see if the unlock comes anyway (i.e. use blp pistol to get laser pistoleer past lvl 30).
