Another happy hour - bugs or intentional?

You know those rare loots that people have been hunting for months or years for? Let them drop all at once to one player within minutes!


This is screwed up. But do you know the bigger problem? This has been a problem for years!

Everyone and expert on how all the exploits are every ware, everyone using them. how easy it is, how everyone doing it, while they either smart enough to figure it out but somehow not use it, or the most honest player on the planet, funny would think they would be quiet and cash in, or are they all just saints pure as the driven snow..... Almost like no one knows how loot works what you think are glitches, exploits and cheating are just what you get in an actual random system with the possibility to win or loose. I am pretty sure some real exploits have been found, used once and shut down while we all have no clue it even happened. Any player finds and uses a real exploit they defiantly doing all they can to not be seen by the players or ma, players never would have a clue, MA a on the other hand I am sure gets a flag and comes looking anytime anything even close to suspect happens, but for obvious reasons it's not like they ever going to advertise it ever happened. Any real exploits or cheating that ever happened or will in game, its the stuff we never even knew happened.
The only reason players even saw a string of HOF was I threw the items in storage so they would all track because I am a newer sub uber who thought the players carrying rare items and hiding hofs just rude and messing up the market and tracking for those trying to collect them. I had no clue the game had such an angry mob of haters with broken gameplay and or a gambling problem with less than the slight clue some of have as to how the game and loot works, convinced the system broke everyone else is cheating and they are being cheated. could not have anything to do with them or there gameplay. no that's crazy talk.
I apologize to the players and ma for my mistake, never again will you EVER see more than one rare HOF from me even if 1000 drop, not to exploit not to cheat. but because the mob and the haters can handle it. I recommend for all you tin foil hat haters you use all the exploits and tricks you are so convinced exist and everyone but you are using, let me know how that works out for you. :ROFLMAO:

I know, the truth panful and no one listens, but here for you anyway:hug::kiss: big guy and the everyone you apparently speak for. All that want to cry with no clue what they even talking about, trash the game point fingers and call people names, I'm Your Huckleberry lets play.

Some facts:
  1. It was unintentional as confirmed by Cyrene official as well
  2. If you weren't there to loot those, you would cry like a little baby and threat to quit the game (100%)
Don't get me wrong here- I have nothing against you and I am happy that it happened since I always root for the players, not for the MA. But please stop your essays about dynamics and being at the right place at the right time- you know very well if it was another way around, you would write novels about how unfair everything is

Exactly. he got lucky same as 13armor parts guy. Everyone knows what hapened and how happened and ppl are fine with it well majority is. I always say never hate the player hate the game. But now trying to defend it makes you look like a twat mr viz :)
 
The problem with MA doing nothing in these situation, with the lack or involvement and care is that it attracts and shapes individuals like this and worse, like exploiters and scammers. Long term effect is not hard to imagine

You make a whole lot of assumptions
The only thing confirmed by Cyrene official is they have no control of or clue how loot works. Kind of proves once again planet partners are telling the truth when they say WE HAVE NO CONTROL, ANY ACCESS OR KNOLEDGE OF, OR OVER LOOT, IT IS ALL MA. Proves nothing about how intentional or unintentional MA was.
If I did not loot I would cry? As previously posted been on the losing end of loot way more often than a win, literally in one of the loot instances everyone keep bringing up, go find that thread look of any crying out of me there or any ware else ever. I did abandon DSEC all together not because of the mass armor loot but because of drop rate and loot in general for all the missions in it. why?... because I think loot was exactly as MA wanted it and moved on instead of crying about it.

I happen to think its a feature but it really dose not matter. If it really bothers so many so much they need to address the the real issue instead of trashing MA and players. running around panties in a bunch in tin foil hats, regardless if intentional, unintentional, far, unfair, right, wrong they invalidate any real discussion argument or change. I totally understand why MA just ignores it.
Something like... We don't like the look and really would like to see a change in loot so that rare cant drop in mass. That might actually accomplish something MA might actually listen and is all the angry mob ever needed to say, they all say it together in a coherent respectful way, I believe MA would do whatever they want, insult them and trash everything not so much.
I personally don't think its the issue its made out to be. what is the difference.. A player gets 30k hof, 100k hof or 4,5,100 rare that have the same value, its more perception of loot than any balance or imbalance in loot if you ask me.
What players really mad about is someone other than me got something. Is the very reason you and so many stuck on "if it was you" "if it was not you" because that is where there mind and feelings really are and They cant see past it.
I not only see no difference between a huge HOF pure PED and multiple rare. I am happy anyone gets any HOF or rare I don't feel I was cheated or robbed. I believe long as your gameplay not crazy will always even out because it always has for me, no huge gain or loss just hills and valleys with a small cut kept buy MA. I even see how I could push it into profit, would be way to restrictive in gameplay and no fun for me but plenty possible, just not my goal. I find it amusing players worried about rare drops and hof's when they should be tracking the market, loot tables and drop rates at the least if they ever expect to see any profit hunting in EU, playing EU like a slot machine mad when it acts like a slot machine, just like in the casino mad when someone else hits any jackpot.

What it really does is make people like me (the casual, not gonna break the bank to de-invest, non-addict) care even less about anything they have to say, and trust them less than I already did, which is a hard thing to beat.

Entropia will not survive on "I only make profit™" whales alone. I mean, how could it if they only make profit? So the people (definitely not pointing to anyone in an ivory shit-tower) who require the plebs to create this magical profit better start actually calling out big daddy MA before you don't have any more plebs to milk for pennies.

EASY You leaving out half of what was said... like ohh... The "I don't know what's happing we don't control this". Shawna knows as much about if intentional unintentional or anything else about loot drops as we do. Same as all dev's have always said, same as was sad by Shawna at the time, cherry picking the line you like dose make what you wat true and defiantly probably not appreciated by Shawna.

THEY are delicious everything you just added says the same thing, tnx for filling out some more context and proving my point. I could go get even more, still missing allot but I'm pretty sure more than was necessary was already provided. A planet partner CAN NOT possibly know what was intentional or unintentional.

I will add another nugget for you geniuses, NO matter what MA reply's with it will be twisted and misrepresented just like you did to Shawna and you wonder why they say nothing.. Meanwhile if you look at what they do in many cases I have seen in EU they have one hell of a sense of humor. It would not surprise me at all, not only was loot intentional they literally did it to rile up the mob and laugh at the silly monkeys. As with almost all things they wont say a word but have some hilarious actions and reactions.... They going to be mad believe what they want regardless of reality truth or anything else and trash us no matter what... lets poke them and watch the monkey's dance.

Tell you a secret, I don't believe anything I say here or any force on earth will get through to most. I am just having fun poking the monkeys, just a side bonus one actually finds a sliver of objectivity or reality.
