Buying: Ardenner 55

It's been said that if an item has never been sold on the Auction, it will not be on the list of Available.

Hence, that 55 is rare...
 
Think that's not true.
Items are in available list if they are discovered. No need for one to be sold on AH.

Alas, I have been unable to find it in the list, but sometimes I fumble :)

Looks like it comes from the 2015 Arkadia Gold event, maybe very few of them out there

If not in the orders list, then they have not been discovered, which means after all this time they do not exist and wiki is wrong. L:imited do exist but not unlimited

I tried to buy an UL ardenner 55 some years ago so it exists.
 
I wonder could the issue be that game not register 'discovery' if items are manually handed by PP as a prize?
Heard that Unstable Assassinator was existing in past on Cyrene but only recentlygot 'discovered' when someone actually got it from NPC (think previous ones were bugged and handed manually, not sure).

I think that's the case currently with new items discovered. In the past, it's been an issue where items have not been listed as available in the auction when they exist. Whatever the reason, it seems like it's been more consistent in the past few years, but that doesn't mean that applies to things from years ago.
