If you are...sooner or later you are going to have problems. I have been using my ATI Radeon HD 4350 for several months with EU and had no problems until 3 days ago. I was running along in Amethera when my screen froze and I had to do a hard-restart of my PC. Upon reboot I got the Blue Screen of Death and a notice about my video driver causing a problem. I have not been able to use my ATI video card since. Windows has a conflict with the video driver and gives BSoD every single time!
I tried everything...Searched the internet, Microsoft.com., ATI and guess what? NO real SOLUTION. Literally 1000's of people are having this problem. This is an ATI and Windows VISTA/Windows 7 (also later versions of XP) problem...make no mistake. A bunch of links offer solutions and I tried them ALL to no avail.
So I just wanted to send out a warning. Please check your DRIVERS file for this file: ATIKMDAG.SYS - Here is the path:
C:\windows\system32\drivers
Search Google or any search engine for: ATIKMDAG.SYS BSoD, crash, fix, boot problems etc.
nVidia graphics are also having similar problems with Windows VISTA/Windows 7 as well... You will see this in the posts about the BSoD's.
