Attachments on maxed out weapons

If I have a limited rifle maxed out, say a Breer M4a, will I still increase my ability to hit mobs with two lasers and a scope, or am I just wasting peds on decay?

I'm sure this question has already been asked and answered, but I can't find it.
 
I think attachments on maxed out (L) weapons are useless.
They are maxed, can't get better than that :)

I know for definate that Scopes & Lasers on maxed SIb weapons cause you actually miss more in some cases. Do not put them on maxed weapons.

Thanks for the info. That's what I suspected, but just wanted to confirm. Can you please substantiate how you "know for definite"?
 
Thanks for the question and the link to the other thread....it tells me that they aren't doing enough good to be worth bothering with. There would be no discussion if it was cut and dried I think?

I will leave them on the unlimited weapons and keep them at full repair from now on to be safe.
