I was at Swamp Camp healing noobs as I have regularly done for several years and this guy Ruzlix called me a child molester. What kind of idiot says that to someone they don't even know? I have 4 children of my own and 3 step-kids, and find it very offensive that he would say something like that to me.

Be careful who you hire to spam for your radio station. I was going to listen tonight but have now decided not to.

Ruzlix was spamming for AHR. Not a very good representative in my opinion.
 
agreed, I have know KC for nearly 5 years and he is a fine upstanding entropian.

Name calling is one thing Mari, but calling someone a child molester is uncalled for and nothing that should be taken lightly.

AHR should fire him if he is going to speak that way while he is working for them.
 
Ruzlix is actually a DJ for AHR ... and I find that kind of low-blow personal attack rather distasteful as well, and certainly doesn't represent the radio station professionally. Rather than making a post, I would just contact David Westmoreland who manages the station and bring it to his attention. I know David quite well, and I doubt that he would appreciate that kind of behavior from one of his DJ's.

mindstar! it is not even original :p as soon as s*it hits the fan, everybody tries to distance the person in question from their business; it is your emplyee; during show the incident happened; you are all responsible professionally; it comes as a result AHR hiring almost any trash they can recruit!

I know that some kids today, think calling someone a "child molester" is simply... very cool; I hope the guy is one of those, and he didn't mean anything by it. However, calling someone that, even when joking, it's idiotic IMO.

Hmmm ... not sure I fully understand your post, but that aside, I disagree with your comment that "it comes as a result AHR hiring almost any trash they can recruit" ... because there are some really great people onboard at AHR as DJ's and they do a wonderful job. I understand it's your personal opinion, but one or two bad apples don't spoil the whole bunch. ;)
 
I like your suggestion MS. I didn't know how to contact management and found the forum link as the easiest way to let someone at AHR know.

aw i see it was a childish response... well i don't think it has anything to do with AHR and is just between the two folks. I don't see the need to pull this onto ef to be honest.

This is getting bigger than it should be. I felt offended when this guy said I was a child molester, kidding or not. I just wanted to let management know about the situation. Don't want AHR to get in trouble or to fire anyone. I love Fish's show and enjoy listening to AHR from time time. The spamming doesn't bother me either.

I think AHR is an asset to this community, that is why I wanted to bring their attention to this.

They now know about it and that is what I wanted.

Just an FYI ... 711, who hosts the EU radio stations (for free mind you), has all required licenses covered, so there is no pirating or violation of any broadcasting laws. :D The only thing a DJ has to be mindful of is whether or not they're using a personally owned broadcasting license, or a cracked copy, because they are the ones taking the risk, and won't have any effect on 711's operation (which was confirmed by him).
 
report the idiot to support. he can use some time out to think better before he insults people like this.

There's been quite a few posts about the piracy thing. 711 probably will shut this thread down as he has many others. He keeps claiming the are paying for the stuff, but has never, as far as I know, ever produced any hard proof of that such as maybe a copy of check that shows the royalty payments, etc.

Are those chat logs from in game or outside of the game?

If it was in game, why stop at the RCAA, or the managment of the radio station. Go directly to planetcalypso.com and file a support ticket for abuse.

calling someone a molestor is directed specifically at someone. Calling MJ a molester is offensive, sexual, and on some counts both derogatory to gender and might be considered by some as one form of racism... I am not saying that I support MJ or anything he might or might not have done... but I mean come on, the guy is dead already. Have a little more respect then Neverdie and respect the dead who created amazing music when they were alive

(Neverdie doesn't have that sort of respect since he named a bunch of dragons on RT after dead musicians who made amazing music and put Godawful info boxes on those dragons that is highly disrespectful of the dead musicians in my opinion... I'm actually surprised Neverdie studios itself or MA has not been sued by the estates of those musicians that the dragons are named after, but that's something for an entirely different thread... It just leaks over in to here since the subject is somewhat related as it has to do with respecting dead musicians. Not sure how in the world Neverdie Studios thinks they can get all sorts of up and coming musicians to come up there to RT when they are so disrespectful of musicians from the past, and will likely be just as disrespectful of any musician that works up there in the future that passes away, especially since some parts of the system will likely transfer copyrights to songs created to Neverdie or MA in some weird way.).

Maybe it was meant in jest, but calling someone that is definitely bad form imo. I can understand KC being upset , maybe have a chat ingame about it all.

I'm not defending Ruz's comments in anyway because he should of known better to make a joke like that... and was told that by staff tonight.

He does apologise but doesn't post in the forum atm so he asked Mistah E to send his apologies for him.


However, from the original conversation it sounds like the OP thought it was ok to call someone else a child molester. Doesn't matter to me if the person is famous or dead, etc. If you're going to be offended being called names, why is it ok for you to call someone else names? Just because they can't hear you doesn't make it right either.


But , that being said, On behalf of AHR, we do apologise for Ruz's ill mannered joke.
