News: CDF Resource Mayhem

One thing for sure, the economy has shifted and the ways of grinding mayhem has been tainted with boxes and tokens that are worth less. You now just give money directly to Mindark. I will say that I do like the idea of the resource mayhem because it's a temporary increase of all markups, it's just.... unfortunately fleeting.

It definately has.

Participants are really "buying the pig in the sack" without knowing what they will actually get. However, we might also see a complete new echelon of weapons. The trend seems to be that DPS and level reqs are increasing. We saw it during TWEN, we saw it with The LP-120 Perf - And we are seeing it now with the new BGH weapons.

The LP-120s had a cost of 300k Mtokens. We could be looking at similar, if not even more expensive, items.
 
To give a hint, not saying that all of these people did turn these in. But this is the last 30 days..

Monthly Highest Number of Globals​

Something to keep in mind about gizmo 8, if you click it on condition then it's a global roughly 9/10 successes. It works out to getting globals somewhere between 8-12x as often as crafting them with the slider all the way on the left. Ultimate Survival Mate and Valuk both crafted almost entirely on condition, so you can divide their global number by 8 minimum to get an idea of how much they did. I also threw in condition clicks somewhat rarely, so you could take away around 15 globals from me. The number of gizmo 8 crafts I did amounted to roughly 2.5 rounds of turn ins, but I sold a decent amount of them.

On the subject of the p 20s, since a success is always a global and it takes 5 for a turn in, 528 globals is 105 turn ins. Not much beyond completing the turn ins once.

I would say there were a decent number of people who were doing more crafting in the beginning of the event, so the last 30 days will probably only represent half or so since the event was almost 50 days.

I ended up with 130k tokens at the end personally, but I didn't have much bankroll to work with and stopped doing turn ins very much around 2 weeks before the end. I would say Ivi is likely to have gotten the most tokens by a large margin. Probably 500k or so. Aside from that second place will probably have gotten around 300k. Maybe someone bought a bunch of turn ins or did a lot of crafting and bought a lot and could have some high numbers as well.

Thank you for the clarification. This is why I got so frustrated in my first post, it took me 3 years to get to 125k tokens, with a very high ped cost per token. During this CDF event people could craft it in a few days. It's ok that MA change things and stimulate the market, but compare that to the Summer Mayhem event..

Thats the thing MA always moving goal posts.

As the event has ended and people have secured their tokens, I can say this:

There is enough people now with 300k+ tokens to launch a medium-sized society.

I don't think we are going to see a re-stock now for a very long time, unless they change the prices on exactly everything.
They will probably re-stock expensive items few items at a time, so there is going to be a lot of fighting for those when they re-stock.

Now as the event is finished we would like to see some statistics.

How many players have complete the Full Mission - all bonuses to get the Rare ! (How many Rare Tokens were handed in?)
How many Players have got +200k M Tokens
How many Players have got +300k M tokens
How many players have got +400k M tokens

That would be interesting to see.

Aswell the TOTAL AMOUNT of Mayhem Tokens in game has increased by what % since the Event Started & Finished?

I know its not gona happend, but would be interesting to see a TOP 10 Mayhem Tokens grinders ->
i.e
TOP Mayhem Tokens
#1 Player 1 -> 530998 M tokens
#2 Player 2 -> 481300 M tokens
#3 Player 3 -> 370600 M tokens

Who cares how much people spent and how many M-tokens they farmed? There are millions of m-tokens and rare tokens out there. The next vendor restock will be the Hunger Games. May the odds ever be in your favor.

I believe this as well.

Regardless of the insane amounts of token people now have, the re-stock will still be controlled by MA and will be limited to X amount of items.
 
the question will be those who have a huge bulk will they pull? if there is no demand or good price to pay for a pull not everyone will pull id assume.
 
Add a new coin and its solved or complete for it, since a lot of players have tokens.

At this rate they should just remove the trader and instead add a mayhem token auction house so everyone gets a chance to put in their tokens to pull a desired item.

People are never forced to pull anything, and there would be people just sitting on their tokens and rares for years, waiting for weapon restocks.

That screws almost everyone that doesn't have a massive amount of tokens and is looking for a weapon upgrade.
 
My point of view is
Mayhem token farming is higher DPS ppl way to transfer TT Losses.
we experienced already LP130 price crush to bare "pill token value"
have a look at my old post with "baseline mayhem value"... we are converging there
there is day after day more alternatives, there is everyday "not yet served" players looking for weapons
so the only 2 ways are
1. increase playerbase to increase demand
2. lower prices due to lack of demand at current prices.

we will reach the "40 pec per token, 6k per Rare" (yes that is since the beginning my guess) for SINGLE RARE TOKEN WEAPONS
the ones that require more than 1 Rare to be pulled will be driven by market forces
some desperate puller in need of cash will sell at "pill value" his excess tokens, probably 30 pec each

demand, supply, RCE.... if you go in these seas u get these fishes.....
 
So far 0 players have gained even close to 100k tokens.
3 players have claimed the rare token for full completion.
The three least completed bonus missions are, "Tier 1 Orders" "Welding Wire" and "Refine Gemstones"
The three most completed bonus missions are, "Extract Resources" "Tier 3 Orders" and "Gemologist"
The total amount of Mayhem Tokens in game has increased by 2% since the event started.

Also they didnt say anything that they will share anything. Its just people assumption after Charlie made that one post.
When people were assuming it's a disaster (which was not possible in 2-3 days as it had a cooldown), MA comes up early in event and says hey look it's all good here are stats ...
After 30-40 days when event is over and damage has been done if they don't give stats for the event I call it "SCAM"
 
Generaly speaking it wouldn't be bad idea to MA showcase how the each event went.

No need to name anyone but general stats could give lil bit insight how the game is currently doing.

What sort of participation there is from community.

In positive cases that could add some trust and faith to the game and MA. 🤔

Tho yeah it could also provide competive edge on those who understand it.

Highly doubt MA would give away this information, if for nothing else than that it provides competitive information regarding how many tokens different players have, and can result in impacts economically on the player level due to release.
