Chomper​

Description

This greedy beast was a nuisance to the early explorers, eating just about anything in its way. Whole encampments were repeatedly chewed to pieces by hungry Chompers in the snow lands. It thrives on land as in water, preying on anything it can catch.

The Creatures section is currently under construction and this process will take some time to complete. AOL #47 density change

Went to AOL #47 today and the spawn is very sparse. Definitely not "high" density. Not sure if this fluctuates depending on how consistently the LA is maintained.
 
Medium size chompers at atamis paradise mixed with SUPER low agro proterons :)

Added a table for mission info, with the assumption that the new iron challenge follows the same pattern as the other recent 10 stage missions. Please help to fill the gaps as you're working on the mission!

LA 47 is the only land area with chomper dna (unique dna). Just north of oshiri, just a few steps.

I will fill in fertilizer in a few hours, set density to maximum and reduce tax.

Still looking to fill in info if anyone out there has completed stages III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, or X

Keep in mind the info can always be found in the "Completed" section of your mission log if you've already completed one of these stages. :)

I've seen a chomper or two NW of Chilled Maffoid & Hogglo just outside the LA. Not sure if it qualifies as a 'spawn' though.

Not only is there not many there but they could have spawned inside the LA and wandered out.

Thanks, have you got the rewards for stage III as well? Should be able to be found in your mission log under completed.

Just wondering if there are still Pygmy Chomper around and if so where ? I did the mission on thule years ago gut they were very close to where you enter but not there any more.
