the track/untrack button only says untrack. It you click it it does what it should but it never says track, only untrack.

indeed it is, sometimes

Lol, that´s not new  since Bginning, it says "Untrack"........ not bad, just ignore it ;)

the track/untrack button only says untrack. It you click it it does what it should but it never says track, only untrack.

It's bugged but not in the sense you think.
If you open the codex by using the command to open it, the icon for codex dialog from the action library, it says on every mob you select "track" even if it is already tracked.
If you enter the dialog via clicking on a already displayed codex mission on the screen it says "untrack" on every mob you select if it is already tracked or not.

So the bug is extremly easy to correct if you are a programmer and work for MA, you simply have to check each time you select a mob in the codex if it is already tracked and then change the text displayed in the dialog box. The programmer of this function did now soemthing stupid or maybe was ordered by the guy who developed the crap view interface to only check and change the text in that box when the dialog is opened and not every time you select a different mob in the codex list.
Now this is probably the same guy who thinks that instead of correct exploits and punish exploiters it is better to use the finances of MA to change the view of all dialog and the interface how we interact with the game so that once again a working environment is replaced by a GUI with less features, less readability and everyone have to adapt their interaction with that interface to a style they did not want to use in the first place.
As we all know and experienced many, many times in the last years it will be riddled with bugs and problems when they introduce this changes.

To clafiry, it depends which codex mob you have selected when you close the codex. If you have clicked on a mob that is not tracked and then open the codex dialog via the open codex command the text is "track", if you open the codex dialog via a tracked codex mission or did have a tracked mission selected when you close it it will display "untrack" as text when you open it.

As the text is not changed according to the mission in the codex dialog you select it stays the same until you close it and the text on reopen is as I described above.
