Once again large hordes of Feffoid mutants are gathering around Calypso, causing havoc and distress in several normally peaceful regions. The recurring Feffoid mutant gatherings do however offer excellent opportunities for avid hunters, so gear up and hunt some mutants!

For this gathering season, large groups of Feffoid have been sighted at Cape Corinth, Fort Fury, Fort Ithaca, Fort Zeus and Jason Centre.

The CDF (Calypso Defense Force) advises all colonists that set out to hunt for Feffoid to beware of their unusual Cold-attacks and to use proper protection against it.

Happy Hunting!

Shitty mob but the only one that gives me a decent size swirl from time to time

Yes they are not even trying. Make it a Feffoid boss event shared loot event and other spawns without shared loot. Like the bosses from feffoid pit. Make it interesting! This would allow team hunting on feffoid bosses without being in feff pit.

Edit: stand corrected seems some bosses too. Not bad.

Hope this shit event stops tomorrow...

Odd this being announced on the same day that a pre announced event is taking place on another planet...

On Friday the 5th of February at 2200ma time - The warning - Toulan (Calypso warp flight at 2130)

We have been warned... Nothing less than a army of hunters will do!

Hunters from all over the universe - Its time to join forces once again - meet at Citadel and await our fate.

Swunters will battle fearlessly during the mini Sage event before we arrive, then its our turn to take on whatever the VS team will throw at us!

confirmed at Fort Zeus, anywhere else?

It's not an event if there's no reason to hunt, it's just more mobs.

They do this EVERY time a planet partner releases new content. Big bulks, feffoids, robots, whatever. These things are super easy for them to start up and they obviously know when the planet partner content release date is since they are the ones publishing it. So they get to plan these distraction events.. Its very sad, The planet partner system was doomed the moment mindark took back calypso and had a vested interest in a specific planet over others... I bet this game would be soo much better if caly had been taken over as originally planned. Mindark would have had time to fix bugs instead of run a planet, and planet partners would have been highly incentivized to release new content and not have the rug pulled out under their feet every time they did...

Cheiftan Jinn also spotted at the back of the Feffoid Pit wave event (last Sunday)

Blakshaah bosses pay better. Jin djarin is only weeping for his lost green boy

Chieftain Jinn at the Feffoid Pit wave event again yesterday, I only stay long enough to collect badges but he seems to be a regular spawn there atm

Event finished?

no more feffs at Fort fury and no Jinn yesterday so probably ended when the maintenance happened yesterday

Where is the Feffoid Pit Wave area located and is it still available?

Yes- always available. SW of Ft Fury, a bit farther than a lesser (1) TP jump. Doesn't look like the actual coords are listed on the wiki.
No coords, okay then, +rep thanks.
