Greetings Colonists,​


The CDF is calling all crafters to find Combobulator blueprints, each of which can be exchanged for one click of a Megingjord Mk. 1 (C,L) Blueprint (L) and Megingjord Turret Mk. 1 (C,L) Blueprint (L).

The Megingjord is a special and powerful vehicle boasting great offensive capabilities in PvP - and a prestigious statement piece to add to your collection.

The special level 3 Combobulator Blueprints can be found when crafting in all crafting disciplines, so it doesn’t matter if you are a tailor or tools crafter, or specialized in any of the other crafting disciplines - the chance to loot these special blueprints while crafting is the same.

Event Dates​

The event will start 08/22/2025 at 10:00am UTC. The event will end 08/31/2025 at 10:00am UTC.

Claiming your Reward​

To claim the Megingjord blueprints reward, place the level 3 Combobulated Blueprints in your storage and contact support by filing a support case in category “In-world” and “Quests and missions”. You can submit support cases here: https://account.entropiauniverse.com/support-faq/contact/

Will they only drop when crafting on caly or caly/universal bps?

Or could for example crafting jungle shorts on ni drop them too :D
 
I might be blind but is there a set amount?

I am also curious if "...chance to loot these special blueprints while crafting is the same" means it is a completely random lottery or if it just means that no matter what type of crafting you do, it is the same (which would lead me to assume TT input would yield a bigger chance).

"chance to loot these special blueprints while crafting is the same" refers specifically to "Combobulator Blueprints can be found when crafting in all crafting disciplines". I.e, you can loot the BP from any category equally, whether tools or attachments etc.
 
Can the bp looted on Automatic mode ???

UE5 will fix the convoluted way that rewards are handed out right? Like it'll be something built into the game itself?

Just to add since it was asked on Discord. Anyone who hasn't turned in their Combobulator BPs by the end of the event will have them automatically converted.

Luckily I don't think "automatic hunting" is bugged, or we would have heard about it by now :)

What happens if you craft a Combobulator Blueprint?

I have wondered this about Calypso Land Deed Tokens for years. Do any still exist unredeemed? Did anyone actually put in the 1000x Rugaritz Ingot and craft?

True, so am I, but Soc may not know this, nor wish to unearth too much 'previous'.
Still, if anything like this goes wrong here, he may well fight his corner and get it pushed through, or learn how to get it done personally. That might also prove to be useful as time goes on.
Personally I'd like to see some kind of expectation statistic on the probability on drops. That could in theory be players reporting to this thread, although player info-spreading has been getting rarer again it seems. I'd prefer to see MA finally move down this road on semi-transparency, but it hasn't looked great over the years.

They never did that as you can see here: <link>

I remember that I needed to chipout that skill then put it on auction at xxxxx% BO and then contact support.

Contact support and ask if they buyback at the same MU. Then proceed to chip it out.

This has happened to me so many times before. I just keep closing it until one day, it's no longer there on login. I think the time spent online has something to do with it. For example, let's say you closed it as soon as you logged in but then you are logged in only 30 minutes, it will be there...
