FYI: CryEngine on vm...

300 serie is rebranding, the 400 serie contains the really new GPU

FYI ;)

I finally got the specs of the new machine worked out,

With the video card though, they are supposedly released on the 27th for the 480 series (480 stream processors) with a later release date for the 512 stream processor version.

Has anyone seen any further info on the later release of the 512 stream processor version ? Or is it safe to say that is likely to be the start of the 500 series set ?

The intention is to run 2 cards, 1 GPU to drive this beauty.

And the other GPU to drive these LCDs as the left and right displays.

Keeping with intel where possible too on mobo/CPU & corsair for most other parts.

because am a linux person.:) so only to have a complete windows computer or dualboot for one game is no fun. This way you can multitask on one computer.

Taking the vm is ofc fast

some friends are playing with vm in office, then they don't care about the applications policy office blocking ;)

runs on wini7 64 ulti on vm on mac mini (badly but runs)

It seems MA has declared the RDP terminal video card emulation as incompatible, in the system information section.

But it still runs, badly... (use a smaller res).

I kinda remember something about win7 comming with a built in winXP VM. Have you tried running it through that?

Have you thought about writing a tutorial for us VM noobs?

Maybe now you can play EU on a PS3, if you can run VM on a PS3 that is.

I heard linux can be set up on a ps3 then in theory vm could be installed and hence EU...
