What is a 2.0 weapon?

Any weapon over 65% eff or something?

When the loot system changed to "Loot 2.0", a lot changed in regards of return and cost to kill etc..

Weapons added after this patch, is regarded to as "Loot 2.0" items, the other items would be your items added before the new loot system was implemented... It can be anything from the CB32's to imp mk.ii etc....

Some of the newer loot 2.0 items do have greater efficiency, indeed.. but some old school items still have high efficiency, although many of them are extremely low eff :ROFLMAO:

in this sense loot 2.0 can be seen as a time stamp.... Before and after loot 2.0 =)

By the way

Speaking of loot 2.0...

Does anyone else remember this quote?

  • A profession level requirement will be introduced for non-(L) armors. Meeting the required level results in the armor offering full protection at all condition values. If the profession requirement is not met, armor works as before, with protection decreasing relative to condition.

What happened to this?

Ahh, kk.
Running off to look for when this loot 2.0 VU was - and can then make a list of the hallowed weapons introduced during and after this date.
These would be the splendid Loot 2.0 weapons :)

OK, the Loot 2.0 was Version Update 15.15.0 - Loot 2.0 - on the 20-06-2017

Now to check what weapons have been introduced since this time ....

Check the fen and mayhem token traders think that covers most of the 2.0 weapons
(UL ones atleast)

In simplest terms. They created this new metric called 'Efficiency' All loot 1.0 items (items before the changes) had their dpp = efficiency linearly. So the higher the dpp the higher the efficiency. But loot 2.0 weapons the Dpp is NOT tied to efficiency. You can have a really high efficiency weapon with a really shitty dpp. There is no correlation, so mindark can mix and match weapon stats. Efficiency effects total loot return. (according to MA). And dpp effects loot composition. So mindark is able to create a weapon that is not very efficient (bonus loot) but gives you better composition (items instead of shrapnel), or they can make a weapon that has high efficiency (bonus loot) but not so high dpp, so bad composition.
