I voted no because vehicles are accessible to all levels of players equally (unlike quality PVP gear)...like 3-J stated.

Please don't disable vehicles in lootable PVP.

The playing field is level, we all start with nothing.

Amount of irl money is just a fact of life. If you can put more money into the game to get an andvantage, this should not be discouraged by neutralizing the benefits. The game needs more money, it's good for the game overall.

Also, years spent in game skilling should be rewarded, not "leveled" because some newbie can buy a vehicle.

Would be nice also if they would remove team target off players once they get out of radar range.

As it is a team can keep team target on a player even if they log out for hours or go to another planet.:dunce:

If someone goes to Akmuul TP before entering lootable pvp then a team can click on them and monitor where they go and how far away they are.

They can sit off radar from someone and follow them....:dunce:

Maybe think about fixing that before you worry about vehicles.:wise:

Yeah, vehicle put out PvP in the crapper really, I mean the SI it too freaking high, so much ammo wasted to destroy a vehicle, and to repair it's mear pecs... bah not good

And all the noobs flying around PvP in quads / vtols... duh armor is useless, guns are useless, PvP is only if he / she wants to land, basically PvP by consent lol

It's like:

Do you agree to battle X player?
Yes / No

Please exit your vehicle and equip your gun.

LOL

That's a BIG exploit right there... wtf fix it should be a max range like 200m or something... damn

Better yet, no team target allowed in PvP, I mean if I play lone wolf PvP and you got a team targeting me, no fair.

Also Disable the stupid 300m range radar! No radar, just eyes :)

And wtf is up with taking altitude with vtol / quad and dropping on the ground exploit?

Disable the falling damage in PvP duh

And take care of the r-click autoclicker exploits, no human can push r-click 300 times / second.

I do agree skills should have some point to them.
But why are vehicle exploits so popular during LG? This not a newb miner getting away with murder, this is something highly skilled plays use as a tactic. Pker crying cause he couldn't loot some one but at same time sending ape man loot home safe, along with others kills and flooding claim markers with vehicles? Maybe I'm wrong.

With a function every one can use I would say it stays lvl, same advantage has been added. You have the same amount of chance of busting someone with something as everyone else. I would say MA has done Pvp 4 a big favor all these years by not going down there and playing their own game for a week, looking at records and ban ban ban. The miners would had appreciated that, years ago! On the other hand, I dont think the Pkers would had been too happy.

lol

yes we aLL start with nothing, but those who started pre gold had a greater advantage than say some one who starts game tomorrow

i cant believe people are having this argument

'oh noobs shouldnt be allowed in pvp4 because they will just fly away', seriously LOL

if that you peoples reason for voting in this, then this whole voting SYSTEM IS FLAWED and CORRUPTED.

kim is asking if vehicles should be banned from pvp to fix bugs, not banned because you guys cant figure out how to shoot a noob down in his sleip, that seems to be causing you so much grief LOL

I woted yes because there appears to be tons of problems with vehicles in pvp3/pvp4; pk:ers complaining about miners doing "recall" and non-pk-pros finding that pvp4 professionals are using every trick in the book and more (speedflying with chopper, jumping out of vtol+shoot with sga rocket launcher+jump back, using destroyed hovercrafts as one-way shields); but if things are fixed hastily, it might impact gameplay in other places.

A compromise might be, disable vehicles in pvp4 but keep it in pvp3.

I'm a miner and I voted no. As a newbie player have no chance to catch those ubers in skill amount unless you are as rich as Kimmi. But we as newbie can use vehicle guns that require no/low skills to shoot those ubers. If vehicles is the problem why not make some pvp4 only long range weapons that do more damage on vehicles than on people. So more decay from weapons and vehicles more revenues for CLD owners. Just disable vehicles is a boring way to do things like this, all the ground vehicles and mounted weapons are useless after that, it won't be good if you ask me.

Besides a small tank demonstration from rony during LG, i still have to see the 1st ground vehicle that shoots at me in pvp. ATM, the only way they are used is either to recall, to drag mobs out of pvp4 to kill them in a safe zone or to hide in it while loading a tp chip. I seriously doubt that was the intention of adding them to game.
As far as skills go to take down an uber, you'd be suprised what 10-12 ppl with normal toys can do vs 1 or 2 ubers.
As for the no skills on vehicle guns, I hope they change that next as EU is still a skill based game

Very nice. Then that way lame Nebula Virus camping space stations with alts like "Cute", "Blonde" and other shit. Alts marking targets, then Windy or ErnestJ or who else is also - just shooting sitting ducks.

Way to go - disable this too?

Remove THEMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

There is much more thrills wo vehicles. Remove em all - make pvp live again not a ghost place with few quad mining hunting peeps

Please remove vehicles from lootable pvp4.

Also fix the damn drop rate in mining in pvp4. It's as low as on FOMA/HELL :eyecrazy:

Someone who started years ago and played a lot more should have an advantage.

And do you go in there? Ever tried to pk a miner with a vehicle that knew how to use it? 99% of the loot is recalled in their pitbull before you have any chance to destroy it. And/or, they fly up and suicide.

Vehicles don't "help" level the playing ground, they make it so almost no one that knows what to do can be looted, in game skills being irrelevant. A skill based game making skills irrelevant is not good.

For all miners who bitch about removing vehicles - stop withdrawing peds and start skilling up.
You cant just take - you must give something too!!!
When i started mining pvp i was running in my pants only - no vehicles, no chance to store and recall loot.
I was mining hard sometimes i get looted sometimes not. I saved some peds and guess what - i didnt withdrew - i started skilling up - i bought hermes some L gun and i was fighting back the pkers - even that i had my ass kicked many times (im sure Kuka, Hulk, Nox and many more can confirm it)
Now i finished spider quest skilled up a lot since my nib days because i invested those peds i made mining in my ava instead of withdrawing it.

Instead removing, develop weapons capable to destroy quad or pitbull cheaply! Weapon with which u cant harm avatar but only vehicles

Totally agree, +rep

How about going all the way and having TP chips and radar disabled as well? Plus maybe some added incentives to being in the area.

seriously kim, bring back the looted ammo if you want more activity in lootable pvp :)
that was the incentive that allowed people to "waste peds" on that activity.
and now that right click aiming is disabled it can be really expensive to do pvp in this game.
your suggesting to "break" a feature as a fix, people are used to having and using vehicles

You disable radar and let team target stay you are just making it easier for people using that exploit to kill and loot miners right after they dig up claims. :dunce:

If you make it so teams can't use team target and follow someone who is beyond radar and visibility range then it would be fine if radar was off. That would make it so someone wandering around in lootable pvp can't be tracked. They actually have to be found like it should be.:wise:

I brought this to the attention of the platform dev team after your previous post and hopefully we'll have a fix for it soon. My suggestion to them was to have the target removed if you don't damage the player for about a minutes time.

it would be really nice if you could at least comment on how long we are going to be unable to use vehicles in pvp, in my wildest dreams you might even comment on the removal of looted ammo ;)
for miners who use amps there arent really many incentives to mine on calypso any more, if vehicles are removed completely and TP chips too, is anyone going to mine there? what happens to the price of the much used resources there? can crafters still craft the enhancers if the prices rise?
and if nobody is mining in pvp with amps, who are the pk-ers going to want to pk if there is no looted ammo to compensate? :)

like a daily repeatable mission which gives you a decent number of toxic ground particles which can be exchanged into pk L gear or toxic shots. the particles are lootable as well as tradeable.

plus increased ore spawns
plus ammo from the loot system after a kill

you could hang that up on these eon wearing npc story themes. "need scientific assistance" kind of thing

Dont exaggerate! Feel like you were a player, it would be extremly boring and stressful to go all the way by foot, with radar disabled to the centre of pvp4. Keep vehicles, keep teleporting, keep radar but now ppl are immortal in quad or pitbull, and even if you lost much cash and managed to destroy such vehicle they still can send loot back. So people are 99% safe now and at most can lose 5 ped toxic if very unlucky. As I wrote give players weapons capable to destroy vehicles for say 1/10 of costs and enough powerful. But also dont exaggerate with its power or no one will come on pvp4 :). Estimate it for people to be say 80% safe. So a newbie will be statistically shot down in his quad 2 times per 10 meets with an enemy. Also you can add a delay and a charge for recalling a vehicle with loots on pvp4. So people will be more up to keep loots with them. And of course restore ammo in loots.

Markup of pyrite will break the roof.

You will do even more harm to game´s economy with this "feature". But you did it many times in the past, so really nothing new.
I was walking in pvp over 2 years, I was flying in pvp next 2 years, and I can walk again.

Markup will be great and it will be worth the risk.

Just make sure - guys at PCF/MA - you are not doing something you will regret later.

and last thing - never listen to someone who just wants to shoot.

Such drastic changes to pvp4 have to be paired with some very good incentives to be in that area else it will be even more deserted as it is now.

Based on the experience I have so far in pvp4, my main problem is the very low tt return.

Mining has a very low hit rate and big swings in tt return.

Even with all the markup on Muluk-hir, it was hard for me to break even due to low tt return. I did insist on hunting them quite a bit, hoping the tt return will even in time but it didn't.

Mulaak'f are 100% impact, fast hitting and high dmg/hit mob so you need some exotic gear to hunt them.

I would say to leave radar enabled, allow tp chip and remove vehicles.

If u wanna keep em remove feature of storing loot in vehicles in pvp, dmg when falling in pvp will reduce hp to 1 point - no suicide possible - that silly quest that u can die instantly-remove that too.

OR REMOVE JUST FLYING VEHICLES FROM PVP!!! and make storing impossible in pits and other vehicles that will be left in pvp

a minute might be too long with a view on the space station methods where you get team targeted by a sitting vtol and as soon you exit into pvp someone in a quadwing speeds up with the speedcheat with like twice speed as your own quad. happens at RT station everyday. the pirate is completely out of any sight but appears suddenly very targeted.
