For whatever reason the shipments never make it to the bars on Calypso, here's an idea how to solve the shortcoming and for a new, additional free activity.
The new profession will be mining-related and called: Manual Digging.
It will be slow, but no tools will be necessary, so no decay. And it will be dirty. Perhaps people may want to visit and support the local beauty parlors from time to time. (Wasn't there an announcement from MA years ago about the introduction of fingernails?)
If people are lucky, they will dig up some Broot.
Broot, derived from beverage root, is a frugal, inconspicuous plant growing almost completely below the ground level and which can be found all over Calypso. It usually contains a lot of liquid and has a mild bitter-sweet taste. Characteristically is the commensal relationship between the plant and a yeast fungus.
Together with Sweetstuff it can be refined to 100% original Calypsian Broot Beer.
Happy digging and
