Editing the controls in game

I was just wondering if there's a way for me to edit all the key shortcuts ingame ?
For example I want when I press W to start running not walking and etc.
Can this be done ?

I still can't get it to work. I've chosen the edit global setting option but when I try to assign an action to one of the keys they are still grey and I can't add them

Once you hit L to open your edit panel, the first thing is, the the upper left of yoru screen, scroll the numbers so you are on the * screen. At that time, you can click on the keyboard icon in the edit panel, and go to work!

If the key is greyed out in the "Global" action set, then it is because it is used somewhere in set 1-9. You will have to click through each set, and find where the key is highlighted, then when you find it, drag the key to the garbage can (seen when you bring up the edit panel L). You will then be able to reassign the key either on that particular action set, or go back to the global action set (*) where you will now see the key blank. You can then drag anything from your inventory to that key, or any action from the Action Library (Y).

Too add to what my fellow NBK'er has asked;

I have been trying to drag my action icons around on my screen and get them all pretty like most people do. I can not get the icon's to 'magnet' together like some people can. This blows my mind. I have been trying this for....ahh...2.5 years now? I gave up on it finally.

Now I am bored and need something to do. Anyone know how to solve this?
