Not sure where to post this so I'll put it here

When calculating a weapon's effective damage, why do you add 2% damage to the calculation? For example, the Lokabhu Electrifier Sword with a trauma IV amp does 64 damage. The effective damage calculation is (64*0.75*0.90)+1.28.

So why is 1.28, or 64*0.02, added to the effective damage?

Hi, i guess this is from entropedia? if you hover over the calcuation it says that the + number is the average damage from critical hits

Thanks...I'm on my phone right now and it wouldn't show me anything.

Basically the formula used on Entropedia is quite simple to understand

( (Max Dmg + Min Dmg )/ 2 ) = Max Dmg * 75%
* Hitrate ( 90% ) + (
Max dmg * 0,02 ) => Added Damage from Crits

Now you can easily calculate the same with higher critrates or higer CritDamage.
