Entropia hunter - a statistics tool for hunting

Sounds like a feature for Entropia Trader ;)
Could well be! Probably a good idea as I'm rubbish at releasing my stuff... but maybe some motivation would help
 
Well it's a great idea for a trader, I rarely trade, so I wouldn't use it much of cause, but would be nice with a list of people to message to buy / sell stuff to.

yeh and maybe eventually enough peop[e run it that the progs can just talk behind the scenes to find trades.

Strangely... I did actually make a start. Nothing much, just got some test code done to load in and construct the list of item objects. Who knows if I'll go further. Think it will be one of those things I may work on now and again as would be interested to see if it actually turns out to be practical/useful as an idea, or if it simply just wouldn't work well enough not to be a hindrance. Guess I'll find out (maybe). If I do, I'll report back on if the idea actually turned out to be useful or not.

Hi Woodydrn, huge fan of your tool and have been for quite some time. I just started incorporating an arsonistic chip into my hunting. Can the tracker properly disregard the tick damage and account correctly when using these chips?

To some extend yes, I did a lot of coding and optimization for this, it does try to track it, but it's incredible hard to get it close. For me when I tested it, it was corrrect maybe 80% of the time, but then some were really off, yeah, its hard, but I can't think of how to get this closer, I really did add a lot of code and timing for this.

I was thinking of replacing the hunting statistics program, so I used Entropia Hunter for the first time in a long time, and I have some questions. I used Entropia Tally mainly, but I want to use Entropia Hunter.

1. The weapon I use is Mayhem BP-110 imp, and it is Tier 3.
When compared to Entropia Tally, there is a difference of about 5PED when hunting 20,000PED.
The weapon's Decay is 0.017831, but EntropiaHunter's program window only displays up to 0.0178. Is it actually applied like that, so that 31 is not applied at the end? Ammo consumption is also 3116, but it is displayed as 3115. It seems that the decimal point is removed from the increase due to the Enhancer, which causes the difference. I wonder if this is the cause of the difference in Cost.

2. When checking the statistics in the session list, I checked the total income, but I confirmed that there is no total spend. Can it be added?

3. This doesn't really matter, but if you hunt the Renegade Hazard Mech ROOT on planet Cyrene, it will be recorded as Renegade Hazard Mech LTX :)

1) The decay for A&P Series Mayhem BP-110, Improved is 1.357 pec right, else it's changed. But you can see the real decay in the weapon settings, what is displayed in the stats is rounded, but of cause not when calculating. These calculations have been validated for a looong time, should be correct.

2) You mean extra costs added?

3) Creatures will be recorded wrong quite a lot, if it's hard to read the creature name it will guess wrong many times, but if it's a good background, it can get it right most of the time.

1) It's calculated with all possible digits, it's only when actually shown in the tool its rounded.

2) This has just been added.

I seem to have trouble changing between weapons in the list. If I have 2 weapons in the list, only the original is selected/selectable. I have to delete the original to use another.

How is this intended to work?

If you enabled automatic weapon selection then it should detect the weapons automatically. Maybe you deactivated that?
