Easy enough to disable the recall system in pvp, just make it so you have to mine as normal.

I agree. This summon claim has much potential but it`s in a pretty handicapped state atm.

Would be nice to make distance unlimited. Maybe impose a range limit in pvp4 and pvp3 only. Let rest of areas have endless range.

I dont really, i think this is fine, its working as intended, purely for stuck claims (be they in spawns of mobs or unreachable) adding anything extra is not necessary
 
2) Summon Claims: You can only summon claims from about 55m. So unless u need to get it from a mountain or from a very low agro big mob it's totaly useless as you can run that distance in a couple of seconds. FIX: Make range MUCH further, preferably unlimited.

How the hell would one get a claim, far up on the mountain even out of range for the finder... I mean, the move claim thingie is made like this:

It aint supposed to make u move a claim from a fucking mob.. You really thought that was the reason?
It is supposed to move the claim to where you are able to drop a bomb... Lets say you stand next to a mountain and mine for some dumb reason.. Claim gets on the top, u do not have a vtol. How to reach it?

MOVE IT TO WHERE U DROPPED THE BOMB! Thats the only point. Unlimited range, gg with that.. drop a bomb somewhere, get a tower... go back to TP, voila, tower at tp...




It's good as it is.. if it works as it should that is.. no need for unlimited range in order to abuse the shit out of the system like you obviously intend to do (move claims from mobs, move them all into a bunch at the end of the run or w/e u are thinking of with unlimited range)


if u can place the bomb.... u can stand at that location... then it will be within 55 meters, no need for longer range


not sure how to make myself clear.... but this system is to avoid having claims that you CAN NOT get to because of a bug, spawn inside a tree and stuff like that.. not because of a mob hugging the claim, that's just even dumb to think...

55 meters more than enough imo, 99% of the players wont get a claim futher than 55meters from where they dropped the bomb anyway :)

That might be some anticipation to beacons-like missions?
 
Nah they nerfed Feffoids hunting. The special Ai is Special stupid only thing it does is move when it attacks so no more auto shooting.

Hey MA and SDS if you implemented this Special AI into all mobs .. guess what I go chip out as grinding is impossible then


OH wait now I get it. Force and Daisy proably made the SPECIAL AI ....makes sense the move around when they attack to in a ciircle

I don't understand. What exactly are the Feffs doing with the new AI? Thank you!

Has anyone else recieved "No Resource Found" after bombing 6different stead with 10bombs each? I think this update was to infuriated me and make it so I can't deposit anymore.

The way MA wrote the notes it sounded like there was a way to get at unreachable claims and a way to summon claims, it sounded to me like these were 2 seperate improvements.

So basicaly this isn't a great new improvement for miners, it's a way for MA to cut down support claims from dickheads who mine in places they know are going to be trouble, and for the occasional sensible guy who has a genuine problem.

That part I do not understand, why would you, an old time player, a veteran... think that they would allow us to get a claim, and then summon it where ever we want? Sorry for my stupidity, but can you explain what you mean here? :p not sure if i understand the 2 different improvements you are talking about, or hoped there would be at least..

I actualy had fun climbing my 2 wally shelves to reach that 1 'unreachable' I had :)
 
Loot sprinkle effect !! SERIOUSLY !? Im sure some of you like it, but i WANT a option to remove it on my client asap. It must be the most pointless effect in game for me. Keep the fairy lights in wow, but please not here. MF effects are as far as i like to see that sort of special effects. Please remove Loot sprinkle effect or give us a option to remove it MA !

Why dont you say what you want?
a mining bot, so you dont need to spend time with the dumbasses who cant mine like you...

Just like some hunters want a hunting bot that does everything for them too... (auto loot)

I have had many-many claims in trees/stones in a short period of a time. It seems that at some palces it happens more than other.
 
Any details on the great improvement "Added a one-minute cool-down period after spawning vehicles" ?

So far I use my VTOL for:
1) Reaching a destination.
2) Escaping mob trains from miners or land vehicles.

So should I now spawn the VTOL to have it ready, and go hunting in the 50 m, pick it up and respawn it 100 m away?
This will only slow down my hunting, and therefore my decay. :)
Unless of course the new mob IA is really better, which I really doubt...

If I understood it correctly, you don't have to spawn your vehicle to have it ready. You have a coold-down until you can spawn one of your vehicles again.

Some people have been complaining about strange shots doing no hits before this vu...
I had 2 and 3 in a row in this new one, hard to believe that's a bug (no official statement about it).

Also, "for your eyes only" i had 6 MISS in a row, when i thought they stopped to make us miss 5 times in a row so much that's a real abuse...

Being able to reach unreachable claims will surely take a load off thier Customer Service crew. I can see how it would be a priority fix to the company.
 
So I just got started extracting some VIII in the middle of trox LA... then game crashed and is offline.

About the content: grace period and mining claims shown on radar is good. The rest is just pointless crap or eye candy noone really needs or wanted... so when are we going to see the old systems we want? :eek:
 
I expected spaceships to come back, but instead they added support for caves... Now I wonder if they will make the new spaceship hangars like the one in Thunderbirds ^_^

Special behavior for mobs sounds nice, if that means that they behave like tamed animals after you whipped them ;-)

Anyway, good to see another VU :)

I don't think it's supposed to. Maybe it's just to prevent lag because you can make hotkeys for vehicles now.

As they added the "Equip Armor" delay in order to prevent lag :laugh: some time ago.

Damn, people really should stop complainig about lag and buy new powerfull PC instead, whats next, a 30 sec delay for equipping FAP?

No... this just means they can't SPAWN the vehicles there. So instead they'll drive them there... park them around the claim marker.... and NOTHING will change. They should have just not allowed vehicles within the 30m radius of the claim marker. Would have been so much simpler.

IMHO lag does not originate from low-end client PCs but from the game servers and the client/server connection. Whenever MA has a choice between spending some bucks on decent servers and finding a software based workaround you can guess what they will do. Castles don't buy themselves!

they did that after people complained about the 2pec equipping fee on all clothing and armor including L that they tried to explain away as lag prevention.

They dropped it to 1 pec on unlimited and removed the fee on L but added the delay instead.

Is it just me or does the loot sprinkle effect look similar to the one in Dragon Age?
