personally, i like the walking speed remained the same while run (rather sprint) speed increased, they look relaxed while walking around :)

Interesting, can we know if they are caly loot, universe Wide? Crafted? Or if they are specific mob items or common loot pool for X lvl?

  • The map can now zoom in two additional levels

Movement Update: Various base values for movement have been altered to make movement feel more fluid and responsive. Some notable changes are:
  • Base movement speed has been increased
  • Agility scaling has been slightly altered, the max move speed bonus is still the same, but earlier levels of Agility will increase move speed more than before
  • Falling damage now deals %-based damage
  • Jumping is a lot quicker

Omg, the running animation is ridiculous, please change it back.

You have further removed incentive to skill agility. The max move bonus should not end at 100, which is easy to reach these days. Players that have skilled for many years should be rewarded with greater speed. You also removed benefit of skilling HP with same falling damage % for everyone, doesn't make sense. The jumping animation is awkward.


Camera Update:
  • There have been several QoL updates to the camera to make it feel smoother. The Max Camera Distance has also been increased.

  • The sound is still not behaving, and requires in-depth investigation into the engine

My avatar is running like an ape now, it's so funny. And I think there's some logic here - if people spend less time running around, they'll spend more time cycling.

It does not end at 100.

The jumping animation is awkward.

New running style is not correct, humans not wobbling on sides close at all when running. That happen only if somone is to heavy and pushing too ard. Such rinning leeds to joints injuries. most humans just running straight.

Great update, I just feel we went backwards with the running animation. :)

We are now running like Benny Hill at the end of each show... it doesn't look natural.

Today´s daily on aris gave me derelict coordinator, derelict drone AND warrior. Derelict warrior doesnt count toward progress.
 
The running and walking looked very good before this patch. Better than in many other games. Now you've totally destroyed the pleasure of playing Entropia for me. Thank you very much MA (n). You will make me save a lot of money though since I won't play any more until it looks good again. While you fix the animations and make it realistic again I suggest that you fire the programmer who implemented this horrible distasteful abomination of an 'improvement' Fortunately there are many other games programmed by people who know what they're doing.

I think it looks better. Make sure you get more feedback before reverting and also consider the how many people post on forums vs how many people actually play, wait a bit longer before removing this.

Female running animation is different from male. The male looks stupid.

Honestly I do not think there is any need to revert it back, people would get used to the new running animation eventually. I have already.

The jumping animation to me is the same, it seems you just speeded it up so it became more responsive, like now when I press space button it jumps instantly unlike before there was a slight delay and the jump was slower, but now the jump speed has been increased it seems to me. I like it though.

how about everybody that complained about the unfixed bugs?

please do not revert back! :-(

edit: why not offer a toggle option in Options -> Gameplay for either the "new" or "old" running animation? could the run animation be client-side only so we actually have a choice if the players are split on this one?

Don’t change it back! But just make it better. Old animation isn’t good either.

No need to revert every bad change, but adjust and see what does and doesn’t work.

But old animation, well like 99% of all animations aren’t good. The game looks and plays like 2005.

The non delayed jumping helps and movement speed does as well. Would be nice for the ability to get like a dash of speed to actually be able to dodge attacks from the few mons that have them.
