Entropia Universe 19.1.1 Release Notes

New Features
  • New tutorial mission added to Howling Mine, teaching players about space flight and obtaining a free ship

Changes
  • The No-Vehicle Area at Ashi Oil Rig has been significantly expanded, by approximately 200m
  • The ability to use vehicles in Fort Events, including Land Grab, has been removed. They may be returned at a later date pending other changes and fixes
  • Shop Status has been returned to estates at Thebes, Ancient Greece

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the GenStar Daily Mining missions from completing

Account Web site
  • The Inventory Changes page now also tracks your account PED card balance, making repairs and auction activity that affect both balance and inventory, visible.

MindArk and the Planet Partners strive to ensure a smooth and problem-free Version Update. Nevertheless, even after extensive testing some issues may arise after release. Such issues are often addressed via mini-patches directly after a release and in subsequent patches. If you feel that the possibility of encountering minor issues or bugs directly after a Version Update affects your gameplay to an extent that Entropia Universe is not enjoyable, please wait until the mini-patches have been released and any last minute issues have been resolved.

dogs contributing to daily as well now, not to codex tho

Land Grab mentioned in version update notes? Whaaaaat? o_O

when are you going to make all landgrabs happen at the same time like they used to? this would make pvp desirable again and make people have a reason to pvp over just one society controlling every land area.

Already noticed, very nice, thank you! The icing on the cake would be if it also tracked mounted enhancers.

This is not fixed:

Since I have started partaking in some LGs recently + fort events this change seems dumb for a couple of reasons.

1. The money spent on pvp goes to increasing normal hunting return %s as far as I know so the spent money to blow up vehicles, repairing them using WW/RKs + their MUs etc., the speed to get us back in the LAs will obviously decrease spending and battle time.

2. This will drastically reduce hardcores spending to hold the LAs also of which they already win everytime anyways so doesn't really make sense to do in a balancing way.

The ashi vehicle change seems good tho

I'm new to it so could be wrong?

Space mining critical buffs still not fixed

Source for this statement?

You should be doing PVP for different reasons then to just hurt someone else's pocket imho...
PVP is fun and Hardcore likes fighting. Throwing stuff at us to kill with no return is not actual PVP, it's griefing, same as with coming with armatrix 10 looking to get killed and spending a few minutes to get back and doign it again, repairing everything back up.

You can come with the vehicle to the LA still, and quite close, just not inside the fort. You could die less too, that will also help with more battle uptime.

The double standards :ROFLMAO:
You like this one because people throw pitbulls at you, when you go and kill them and while they don't want to spend on you, PVP you, but they do want to make you spend, that's griefieng done to you and you approve of that one...

When killed, vehicles should return some ammo or shrapnel (in space or on planet). Until then, on planet, there's not much sense in doing vehicle hunt or PVP. PVP weapons on pitbulls have very minimal impact anyway... unless used to mass DC players near claim

The pvp money going to the bonus shrap pool I could have sworn I seen somewhere but 2 lazy to dig up maybe you remember seeing too. As for the griefing, I was talking about being able to fly to the fort and havnt even gone to ashi since the update at all so no double standards. But as long as we can fly there at least that's cool. Still takes more time and less battle having to run on foot inside but whatever not the end of the world just doesn't make sense balance wise from what I understand of it so far. I dont think you can even teleport chip close to the fort also. So just couple shots of the sniping on the tower and game over what fun is that besides cheap LAs. I'm willing to spend let's blow up some vehicles! 😆

Willing to spend? Running in with mk4 pitbull and dying on purpose is spending? I didn't know that

Also I would appreciate clarification from any MA officials, if anyone finds a way to the fort with quad or other flying vehicle, is it considered cheating or smart ?

Since there is a bug being abused for a while to log out while in quad above safe zone, then log in - avatar is alive and standing inside fort in safe zone, that's weird.

Hey lately you gotta admit it's been good that noobs like me and bunch of other people like loreapade and streaming is getting into and helping pvp a lot. I completely understand that you'd much rather get the LAs and tax that come with it gifted to you instead of spending a tiny fraction of your profit from taxes, but don't you think the taking away of vehicles in LG (not ashi) is balanced wrong or wrong for the game in the long run in your honest opinion or is this a good change?

2nd question i have to you is out of me and you. Me with my supposed pitbull I don't use and not getting my money returned via LA taxes etc. and you getting all your shots returned plus profit via taxes.. who is spending more would you say?

For the most part many in HC dont bother with shooting the vehicles, its pretty pointless since the person would have to get out to get on the claim. (Except me, i like making them go boom and dgaf about the money 😅)

If however more people ran in, you can be sure they will shoot you. So overall actually increasing thier costs?

I do agree with Eve though its such a daft tactic and takes away from the essence of pvp. People who want to pvp - skill, train, find high tier L gear, gain as much HP as they can. All these things contribute to the game and the betterment of pvp, not some people trying to grief and be a general nuisance.

It would be amazing to see more people actually want to pvp and not try and find ways around it and crying its not fair.

Nice changes from MA, and I look forward to having more real fights from people actively trying to learn to pk :)

Ya I agree griefing is just dumb I just need to get there faster after dying lol and I don't want people getting bored having to run further and less chances to fight that just started. We needa keep em coming more players is better. The fortnite pitbull fort people make in ashi is just stupid so that is a good change for those that go.

It helps PVP if you and other participate to kill other players. Not if you participate just to make other players spend.

Participating to make them spend, has nothing to do with the greater good of the game, is just rallying up people on an absurd hate train and it's the reason attacks are not successful for years. It's not building up a core of players that develop a friendship based on common interests and having fun but instead it's about getting anyone that can hold up a gun to become cannon fodder, people will see through the smoke and how pointless this is and cannot blame them for giving up and only have a handful of players that attack, for various reasons...

Who told you this is getting into and helping pvp? They are doing you a huge disservice.

All people think is its some newer players who have been given terrible advice, being spectators at lg. We ofc encourage anyone to come along, the more people who want to get into pvp the better! But dont be under any illusion driving a pit bull into a wall is bettering pvp.

Come fight! Skill up, increase your hp. Use pvp armours and weapons, pills rings buffs tattoos anything you can get your hands on! Learn how to pvp and come kill ppl! Thats getting into and helping pvp.

i think vehicles not being allowed near fort at land grab or at rig is a good idea, they serve zero purpose other than an attempt to make people spend far more in the process of killing you. Most of times the vehicles are left alone unless being used as a shield or a flying vehicle to access the walls and teleport room quicker.

This change also prevents hardcore from flying back onto the walls, so the way I see it is we all will be teleporting back to the same areas and the intensity of the fighting outside the fort will increase tenfold, which is perfect

And if people actually want to take part in PvP, they will do so even without hiding in a pitbull. 😉

I think implementing some return on shooting vehicles makes sense.
Removing them from LG / Rig makes little sense given that the market just got stimulated with the recent Tank event, but if it's a temporary fix until the aforementioned is implemented, cool.

Are you saying we get the shots returned ?!

O no I mean money spent comes back in the form of taxes not as loot window like red zone
To who ? Not to us for sure.
I wasn't sure what you meant with that. That is why I'm asking
