Sounds like even more mouths to feed for the depositors (providing anyone can actually make it work).

I am quite sure that the amount MA receives is more than the bit we get. So they get their cut from every thing players do. And many won't withdraw the cash,so they get another cut there.

Hmm, you're probaby right.
It was nice to see them not over-hyping the game in the announcement. Their description off EU is much more accurate than "earn money for killing mobs".

In the past, I've participated in a few such programmes, which always refused to pay out untill you have at least $10 or even $25 collected.
I like how this one gives a payout on every survey. Just tried one for 5.20 PED (52 cents, and yep...got a deposit confirmation for 5,20 PED...and that's after the deposit fee was subtracted).

Had a look at a few of them. They all seem to be either:
Fill in a survey.
Accept premium rate sms which is a higher cost than the reward.
Get bombarded by spam.
or
Dodgy sites.

I would hold no grudge against someone who made an alt account for the purpose of these offers so as not to risk their main EU account.

I had a look at some of the to, "you agree to receive offers from our partners and that we share your name and address with them" ???? One of the partners was a casino ffs.
i am to expect RL spam too?
the sky really is falling or do the "executives" at MA really fail to understand both their customers and brand imaging in general, they already have a poor reputation but keep getting in bed with dodgy companies, first SEE, and i would think anyone with common sense could see how that would end, and now social type and sometrics.
I would of thought that by now the people at MA would have seen how hard it is to rebuild a tarnished reputation, but no they just keep digging themselves into a deeper hole.

what i expect drew, is that MA have competent executives, that they understand brand and image, that they give the impression that they can be trusted with their "real cash economy". I expect that the people that keep coming up with these stupid ideas and running what could be a successful company into the ground are held accountable at some point and frankly,that they sack the incompetent lot.

Well, yeah, I understand ofc. And I wish a lot of cool shit too, including customizable texture of Falling Skies™, expecting, and etc.
When I see most their fuckups and getting upset - I simply remind myself "this is sixty fucking six people company, and they holding 10 years", well, and I just stfu.
Those, who know businesses of such scale understand, how small (maybe even on the edge of fault) staff is.

This is really scary. 711 can you confirm this is a real MindArk authorised association. The response from most members and myself have grave concerns about this association with Sometrics.
It,s kinda like a kindergarten moving next door to a brothel and using the prostitutes as teachers. Account security is at risk and players don't want private information to be shared with dodgy third party users. I really think we need a official MindArk employee comment on this new association. It's not good. Even Deathifer has posted his concerns and he has invested heavily in this game!

Why should 711 have to confirm it ?
When you can access something only after logging in thru your EU website account, I think you can be pretty sure that it's approved by MA.

you could check the link on the calypso client loader, i doubt that sometrics hacked the CL and put it there themselves...
how incompetent can you be as a company executives to think this is a good way to promote what is a premium service, they really think they will attract customers with offers to sell their real personal details to the casino industry for half a US dollar?

Scary stuff... perfectly suited for the announced goal of doubling the number of players. So the target are the types sitting and clicking (grinding??) dozens of ads per day as Adbux and Neobux of the old for 2 USD/month, just a tad more now if the completed offers would replenish fast enough?
For the ones salivating over this sad, sad association but living in countries of no or little economic impact, here's the solution:
1. Install some software like Tor browser, and get all those juicy surveys including artrithis medication and insurance offers.
2. Make sure you lie your ass off, either regarding your age, your anual income or your health status in order to qualify for each of the surveys.
3. If needed, pick some ZIP postal code from the google.
4. Get your free ped, "honestly" earned ped.
Seriously... there is a HUGE market of scammers and bot users in the advertising field. This is the best MA could think off?
Make some advertising contracts with serious companies MA, make something like Apple or Sony ads running on some terminals in town, for each RL item sold give some peds back to player if registered its product on their site.. something like that. I buy a nice large TV 800 USD in value, I'll get 10% or 5% back in game.
BUT NOT THE DARKEST MARKET ON INTERNET!!!!

MA really like to brag about how many user accounts they have so Im really getting why they do this.
This is quite a big step down i my confidence in them. But hey, who really thought they where going to use all their income from land deeds to advertising? They needed those money to avoid going bankrupt if u ask me.
Most of EU's carreer MA have sucked big time, i dont think they suddenly gonna stop sucking
Too bad cuz theyve made a great game with big potential, they just cant run it properly. I just hope someone else take up the competition with RCE games so I can leave for good. This really made me thinking if I should quit.
