Entropia Universe Webshop Launch

Why, when I was a noob, the only way we could have such armor was to somehow manage to walk all the way to Zychion Citadel. Yes, walk. I know this may be hard for some of you kids to believe, but Calypso didn't always have these newfangled cars and helicopters and boats and spaceships and hoverthingys that you softies enjoy now. We had our FEET, and we were thankful!

The ones that did manage to make it there and had a few PEDs to scrape together could buy some Pioneer armor from one of the few shops still operating there. Man, I had arrived! Pioneer had double the protection of Settler!

And a Punisher Mk1 to complete the set.

These items need to be tt-able for their tt value. In general so that we're not stuck with items we've decided we don't want and because this is supposedly a RCE, and specifically because i already have the crappy armor and if i want the good things in the starter kits (the things that weren't included in the event rewards), i'd end up with two suits of said crappy armor.

So, does the H-DNA make you revive where you died? Or just wake up at revive terminal faster?

For 40$ you get:

200 ped - pure peds
85 ped of universal ammo, tt'able but not refundable; all the following stuff except for oil and H-DNA not tt'able or tradable
25.3 ped - Adj Harrier armor
13 ped - gun + amp + scope (5.90 + 5.20 + 1.90)
7 ped - fap
17 ped car + 2 ped oil
0.3 ped - 30 skill boosters, 50% for 1 hour each
0 ped - 3 H-DNA, a consumable self-resurrection

That makes 349.3 ped total

Thanks so much for posting that. What I consider is when I deposit $40 only what 380 peds end up on my card due to the processing fee? To me this means I can depo $40, get 200peds + the 85 ammo (which I consider peds) and all the other stuff - car, oil, skill boosters, and h-dna. I need a new car - and a Valk is about 30 peds.
I'm not counting in the armor, gun, fap or amp because those are of little use to me - and non-tradeable.
Really this is what I have been looking for MA to implement for a long time - give us "incentives" to deposit. Instead of me just dropping in $40 and ending up with 380 on my PED card, I can drop 40, end up with 200 on card 85 in ammo, and some nice goodies - some of which you can get anywhere else. I never thought I would, but I think I will be buying one soon!

Anyway... Four hundred PEDs... for THAT?

You forgot to mention you had to walk up hill the whole way in the rain , with a herd of mean atrox young on your tail lol :cowboy:

Got to say, gold was a great deal. 200 ped, 85 ped in ammo. Then a bunch of nice ul gear and a very useful car/consumables. Thumbs up mindark. Might buy this a second time in the future lol.

Although I do agree with the TT able, I think this was done in order to stop multiple accounts being made in order to farm the stuff, then sell it to some unsuspecting noob for more. Just a guess though. ;)

Edit: I think you just meant it to be tt-able and not trade able. So yeah I agree! ;)

I agree the armor is only good looking but has no real protection , just shitty stats

sems we can buy these only one time ...

to option for the gold pack is gone for me when i log in ( bought it a few days ago :D )

Did I ever tell you about the time I killed a Big Bulk Gen 9 with a loose leaf notebook binder? ;)

I just did the test with adjusted harrier assault armor for running speed.

Result: it does not speed you up! :(

Test:
straight line run in PA from wall to wall (there are square tiles there that asure i run straight way each time):
time measured with hand stopwatch.
start point: 61313, 75360
end point: 61535, 75360
my agility: 72

two runs with full armor on (ico was present and describing +8% acceleration effect):
45.08sec
45.06sec
two runs naked:
44.99sec
45.08sec
i have decided that mayby regular armor slows you down so i tested with vindicator armor:
45.08sec

As you can see there is minimal difference and wearing this armor does not speed you up.

If you are sceptcal you can do the test for yourself.

I will send support case right away. This armor was one of the items why i bought the gold starter pack for.

I heard the same - that they noticed no difference. 8% isn't huge, but it's close to 10%... one should be able to notice a difference. When I wear the Thoro hat and hunt prots... I notice a difference just when walking backwards.

Good work doing that test dude!!

Yup i have done tests for the helmet and they confirm that weapons shoot faster. I even found out that reapir tool works faster (mayby they already changed it) but not mining tools.

Some more info on this subject:
I did test with metabolic acceleration chip I (L) that gives 15% acceleration boost over 120sec

same spot:
45.03sec
45.11sec

as you can see - no difference too!!!!!

Interesting both tests.... definitely it deserves it's own thread!

Does the adjusted harrier have any effect on anything (besides run speed)?

I'm going to buy the package, even if don't need anything from there.
Those items should be (and only) TT'able but other than that it is very cool addition.
I'm suspecting more as such opportunities in the Webshop to the near future, always once to buy per account.
interesting times are coming :)

What is the betting that MA has got a hidden MAX level on the speed gain , so that noobs can be faster than otherwise, but not actually faster than non-noobs? Non-noobs gain nothing at all:
"You are already 10/10 on this armour's running skill bonus. This armour can only boost you when below 10/10. Thank you for your deposit!"

No :(

So you are saying something like this: it works only up to (for example) 30 agility or something?

Except helmet/face is cool looking armor/plateholder wich cud be eco on punies.
Imediate effect - users will wish to have durability at least near noob armor pixie range (1200) so mabe they start to use enhancers.
Imediate effect - your inventory or storage is cool - full of items soon arround item limit.
Maybe MA can surprise us with addons/improvements for adj harrier wich we will be able to purcase in future on web shop.
Future effect - it work as one of incentives for next web shop purcase (as soon is aviable) premium double item/storage capacity monthly subscription...

No :(

I was thinking something like this, but this is stupid for non tradable item.

Better explanation is that item info is OK, but someone forgot to add to armor stat that speed boost and in future patch they will fix it.

Yes, I meant that it is possibly why you aren't faster, but MA forgetting to actually add in the effect would be an alternative and hopefully correct call!

Or it's the latter but they will change it into the former to hide their mistake :D

Here's a list of Level1 tier item requirements for the Adj. Harrier:

...and wouldn't you know it, no swirls for tiering the damn things.
Now i just feel cheated >.>

So did they fix the speed bonus? I seem to be faster with it.

Another old timer that remembers the old days. Love to see a few of us still around. Miss those things.
