THIS IS NOT AN EXERCISE.

As the training programme reached its conclusion, we received reports of a security breach at one of our storage facilities near Palms Corner. A number of weapons are missing from the facility, presumed stolen.

Witnesses identified Officer Blackmoore at the scene and we must therefore, regrettably, consider her our number one suspect. It appears that Officer Blackmoore has betrayed the trust we afforded her and taken advantage of the situation.

Volunteers are requested to locate and apprehend Officer Blackmoore. This is an urgent request. Any colonist who can deliver Officer Blackmoore to the nearest revival terminal will be rewarded with 100 PED.

We have an unconfirmed report of a person matching Officer Blackmoore's description being seen in the vicinity of Landgrab Area 8. The source is described as "possibly reliable".

STATUS: GREEN ALERT

Officer Blackmoore has been apprehended. Thank you to Trex Twitchie Prada whose decisive action was crucial to the success of the operation and worthy of the 100 PED reward. Most of the stolen goods have been recovered, but some items are still missing.

Disturbingly, the convicted felon Archman was also discovered in the area, having apparently escaped from his cell at the Port Atlantis facility. Fortunately Archman was also apprehended thanks to Twitchie, who will receive a further 50 PED as a reward.

Please report to Atlas Haven to collect your reward.

Blackmoore and Archman are currently being held in custody for questioning. Further information on the case remains Classified at this time.

Thank you to all of the colonists who assisted in the operation. Your commitment has been noted.

Fun event Oleg, cheers.

I thought the trox at the rig were going to destroy my pk collection, then almost gave up when I got bugged at palms, but finally got my first pk hof and all proper kills :yay:

Never did see that Blackmoore person who had run off with my armour though :D
 
Phew, that was hard work and went on for longer than I expected, I hope no-one got too worn out by it :D

Really Kick-Ass Event Oleg ... this was a lot of fun ... and rest assured that I will be around for Break Out III. Great effort by all in the pursuit of Officer Blackmore (and Archman once he was revealed), and congratulations to the winners. I love the air of mystery, and not knowing ... ok, some things I knew and some things I didn't ... but even that made it quite exciting because of how it all played out. These types of role-playing events are just awesome, and I hope that we see a lot more of them.

This event was in a league of its own, no other event provides this type of fun. Thanks for that Oleg.


Thanks to MS9 for covering it on Atlas Haven Radio made it that much more exciting to see the running commentary and progress on the chase.
 
Attention Colonists

Greetings Entropians,

For those who were unaware, incapacitated, busy or otherwise engaged, two nights ago we had a planet wide training activity. This was designed to keep our trigger happy hunters and civilians well versed in urban and wilderness excercises. :wtg:

Even an old salt like me requires constant activity to keep his edge, so once again I stepped up to bat and sent out a call on the wireless for an elite team from the community. Formed at Atlas Haven, the volunteers flocked to my banner ready and willing to follow me to Lootius know where.. Once gathered, we begin to check each others armor, weapons, and inventory so that we could initialize a well organized training excercise without the worry of jammed carbines, faulty protection, or the possibility of overweighted backpacks.. I also formed an uplink with AHR HQ to keep them aprised of our situation. :grouphug:

Once the training excercises began, I informed the squad over the wireless as to the first training location and we set out..

Traveling to New Oxford and Genesis Amethera HQ for the Urban part of the excercise, we quickly adapted to the situation as did the others in the excercise and Officer Blackmoore was quickly apprehended. :boxer:

After a brief rest, in which we checked our gear, I communicated again to AHR HQ informing them of the details of the excercises so that the information could be spread over the wireless to the community..

Recieving the next set of instructions over the telegraph, we proceeded to the next mission area. Arriving at our first wilderness training excercise in Solfais Crater, we quickly spread out, teleporting to preset coordinates. Switching from urban settings to wilderness proved to be a challenge especially while trying to avoid friendly fire (Oni.. owe you one). This setback did not stop the effectivness or professionalism of our Elite force.. After a long period of the team searching without success.. I teleported to the tp and began coordinating our different elements to provide a better coordinated search... and it worked! Soon after, Officer Blackmoore was spotted and taken down.. :handgun:

It fills me with pride as I stand at the tp and see all my team converge with me.. such honor and commitment.. :dancing:

After a quick equipment check, we were called out to Nymphtown where we once again had to locate Officer Blackmoore.. By this time we had adapted to the wilderness settings and knowing she would be caught quickly in another urban setting, and anticipating this, I sent my team deep to the sw into the zone of the infamous oil rig.. Scouring the area she was quickly found.. however in such a dangerous area, finding isnt the same as catching.. Using a unique method of evasion, she created a train of mobs.. a big train.. which of course attacked as soon as others appeared on the radar.. however sending the coords over the wireless, we were able to surround the area and move in taking her out with minor injuries to ourselves in the process. :rocket:

After a little patching up of the scratches we recieved in the zone, we recieved word that the final excercise was located at Palms Corner.. Once gathered there, my well oiled machine Calypso´s Elite, teleported almost in unison in search of our white haired nemesis.. It didnt take too long for word to come back over the wireless as to a sighting! Sending the coords back through the radio and team telegraph, all of us converged quickly on the spot surrounding her.. however, due to a small glitch in the matrix.. most of us were unable to effectively take her down. I announced to her that she was surrounded and to peacefully allow us to escort her back to the tp.. she laughed.. it was at this point, and probably to show her what we thought of that laugh, that we opened fire and the combination was enough to overcome the glitch and she fell.. :sniper:

Informed and thanked for participating in the excercises, we all teleported back to Atlas haven.. finally out of the stress we were able to relax a bit and patch the various holes in our armor, clean our weapons and relax to the music of MS9.. :banana: :whip:

however it was short lived... all of a sudden across the wireless we learned that Officer Blackmoore had turned rogue and had stolen weapons and ammo from a secured locker at the storage facility at Palm´s, as well as a convict escaped the prision at PA.... Suiting up in a hurry my Elite force quickly established a perimeter at the Palm´s tp and within seconds.. had charged up and teleported out..finding her was easier this time as her tracks and heat emanations were easily tracked. Once found though, she wasnt giving up without a fight and what a fight it was.. but against the unrelenting forces of Calypso´s finest.. the outcome was inevitable and she was taken down hard. :woohoo: Knowing that both Blackmoore and Archman were detained behind fields of energy.. it was time to stand down.

Heading back to Atlas Haven, we were greeted a heroes welcome and thanked by many for the courageous effort we put into the excercise and subsequent capture of two known terrorists.. proffessional as always, we thanked everyone, peeled off our armor, and proceeded to rock the night away.. :dancing:

My appreciation to all of my Elite Force and to all of the community that helped and trained so hard for the future.
