What it will do is that it calculates, within a team. How much each did. In % DMG, total DMG, Crits, % Heals, Total Heals, and ofc amount and loot. Yes TT and Markup and different kind of items.

I have more things on my list.. For example the "auto screengrab software" that are popular ATM. I thought of integrate one in my software to remove the multiple use of applications.

So i need some help.
  • Is this a good idea?
  • Have i missed something?
  • Name suggestions.
  • Chat?
  • Server connection for chat servers, auto update, Accounts,Common Database?

Okey, beta took quite some time to create, This is because i fine tuned alot and didn't get pleased with first working thing i made (the sneak peak).. The current version i got is maybe to advanced and need alot of FAQ.

So now i need betaTesters.. As a beta tester you will get this available and if you want to be listed at Credits. You have to agree that most of what you do will be logged for testing/develop purpose.

BETA includes:

  • DMG done,DMG taken,Heal Done,Heal taken(total,per sec,crit,Crits %.etc, From all team members(with team entropia))
  • Amount of misc items in chatlog:Misc, Skillgains, Globals, etc
  • Chat log(Will be able to chat within team)
  • Loot(Teams total, each players loot)

Things on updating list:


  • Biggest/Lowest hits
  • Skillgains per hit(categorized)
  • Tier upgrade logs/per hit.
  • Revive map(where spawn when pressing T)
  • Postition map(where team members are when pressing T)
  • Loot(TT, and how loots should splitted to each player determent on Total Damage)

Not sure how it will work or who cares who did the most dammmage as MA already determins that with the loot splits. Can't use the chats unless all team members are using it at the same time otherwise you will only get dammage reading from one player.

To be honest this is something I will never use. Now a good screen shot program that records time and location saves as a .jpg I will use.

The chat i mean an outside game chat to like EIM but to more easily get together and start a team. (just by a few clicks and a meet up).

How it will work is that all players connects to a server(Client side server if they want to) that keeps track of total damage made from team.

I would use this to get an more overall look on how my team do. For intern events and competitions between my friends/soc.

Well it would read from the chat.log that shows DMG etc.

Well people have not found a way to do it for PEASS yet so i guess that wont be a prio 1

But doable in window mode.

Very interesting, this will definitely be useful when comparing dmgs done by ppl of different skills levels using the the same gun or comparing the efficiency of guns for mobs while in team.
It will also show some hard evidence at what level u can begin to use UL weapons efficiently etc.

If this work out well, it can help decide to split the beacon loot nicely.

also, I dont think Chat is necessary.

Looking forward to this program and let me know if i can be of help testing.

And i hope that beacon missions and things alike will be displayed in team chat when looted. Then it will be even easier.

Seems like a awesome tool. Especially for splitting markup according to dps on hunts.

Or on long teamhunts to even out loot in the end. If someone just got unlucky but did twice the dps as everyone else during the run..

I would definately use it. Especially with the bigger team mobs around and the items that can make up a large part of the loot.

This is at beta.. And i do not have a database for all items yet.. Actually i do not have a database for any items.. This is a thing i hope my betatesters would help me with :rolleyes:

Don't forget to implent a way to put in a tt value of a item. When you loot a ESI the TT is quite important!
Other usefull thing would be a automatic message at the end of a team hunt witch says:
Player x: give 9,09 ped to player x2
Player x2: nothing
Player x3: give 2,29 ped to player X8

This way you can see witch player needs to get some more peds or needs to give some peds up so that everyone has gotten the equal return :)

This is on the todo list.. Actually this is why i started this program.. Only problem is that i do not have a database yet.. I have implemented a method to automatically add "New items". Atm i have a LOOT table where you can see what everybody looted and how big % of The total it is (in quantity not TT)

Every team member needs to run the software and join a server witch will transfer data to the other machine.
This could work like creating a deathmatch on a online shooter. One persone creates the hunt and other persons join.
Or there will be 1 server witch you need to connect to and this will work as a gatway or something ...
Idea looks pritty cool. This way I can hunt hoggs in a team of urbers and get the same % return as everyone ^^
 
I think MA should add a DMG meter as an addon for fun. i love statistics, and comparing stuff with others. it gives the E-peen vibe. :yay:
 
DMG meter would be quite useless yes :p

However, an DPS meter would be very usefull.

sure we got entropedia, but it shows top dmg. and makes the dps of that top dmg. not the average.

as this is widly different from player to player beeing able to see the average DPS one did during a hunt etc and be able to compile it for a month or week to be able to see the average DPS one did throughout the time periode from both short term, and long term.

also having peaks showing, the best one did ever, and the worst one did ever.

and one thing I see with all the PE helpers and screengrabbers etc. is it so hard to make them atleast look a little ... more laid back ? and not some thing that was dragged out from excel as an copy paste sheet with just tonnes of numbers all over :p

aswell as beeing able to switch from seeing the DPS the team mates does, to only looking at yourself.

and well the dmg a mob does to you would be interesting, atleast I think so :p

because I always found it very odd that 1 mob, say Atrox Alpha can merly hit me at all, and merly scratch me when it does and have it go like that for a while, before suddenly you meet an alpha that pretty much shreds you to hell, and that with the armor and etc in the same condition, would be interesting to see when, where etc you found such kinds and how often, once a hunt? several times a hunt? once a month? etc.

No need.

It tracks damage done thats enough.
It means that in the end u can split the items/hofs accoring to the % of the total damage of the team..

If it just says.

player
1 15%
2 15%
3 30%
4 10%
5 20%
6 10%
Of total dam by team, then u know player 3 should get 30% of the sales prize of items and hofs, and the others 10,15 or 20%.
 
Okey for the record i have to explain a problem i got when reading the chat log. And how to calculate the DPS, but i think i fixed it pretty good.
i will try to explain as good as possible

Instead of trying speaking with words that im not good with.. I will throw alot of data at you..

The chat log only records every 1sec so if you hunt with a adj v1 it will be create a problem..

So it would be like this with a opalo(1.4sec reload):

very early Beta is here. If not alpha. Becouse it do not have much use atm..

Known bugs for the beta testers:

*Team Table is "out of sync" doesnt fit the application windows
(Workaround: Make the window bigger ;) )

*When sorting the some tables it sometimes crashes (This happends when adding a thing to the table while sorting, i think)

EDIT: Added new pics to the first page

*Username are displayed instead of displayname.

I have a problem logging in now.

I had a internet disconnect and then i closed the software. Whenever i try to login now it says user is already logged on.

How long do i need to wait?
 
Okey, i will see what happend.. it should be an auto drop after 15min.. Havnt tested this but will see what happend
 
Okey.. i see you are using a beta account atm.. Any luck with your account?

Okey after some investigation i found that the team you created got stuck in some kind of loop and are still open on the server.. wich locks your account.. to fix this i have to restart the server.
