Maybe you can take an free host with php and function mail activate only for the forgoten password problem.
When a request is made , a script on your server activate a php script on other host.

Problem is that some email providers don't like it when the mail sender server dosn't resolve to the MX for the domain - so your solution will most likely not help.

The issue is on my todo-list though (since my server - which is running a not-braindead MTA talks to the website on a regular basis, so maybe i could poll from it... we'll see).

On Entropedia mail works just fine AFAIK. Don't both sites use the same server?

I guess it isn't the hottest mob, but I think there should be more globals for Miner Bots showing up in tracker than what now can be found in the loot chart. I know that I have at least one and as I always run tracker my self I guess that it might be a bug. Looking at the loot chart there hasn't been a global since May 4th, and that isn't really true.

Maybe something to look into?

Witte, the problem is more complex than that, much more. Email providers like hotmail for example will do a reverse lookup on the DNS, if the MX records don't match for the domain name sending, its silently dropped (ask me how I know, cause I fought those MSN bastards for weeks with my private server till I figured that out).

So for example, the mail says its from (for example) xyz.com but the reverse DNS lookup and then normal DNS lookup against the reverse DNS results reveal that the email is actually coming from a server known as zyx.com, then it just gets dumped. Its a HUGE pain for hosting multiple websites on one IP address (server).

Todays world of email spam has caused many many hoops one must go through to actually get email out and accepted by major email providers.

Tussi is a sharp dude though, he'll figure out a way to get it sorted eventually, I just don't think its high up on his priority list at the moment, and its a big headache to get it sorted for very tiny gain. I don't envy the time spent for what he is about to try and fix.

If none of the above made any sense to you, be glad, sorting out MX records, DNS and Reverse DNS can be a friggin nightmare.

My opinion is the same about the client it does not help you to get profit or better loot so I have locked my account on the site:mad::yay:

LOL.. i "feared" this bug could happen.

Its because the graph generates a data file, then use that file for .. well.. the data.

Here's what happend:
You click drone...
Someone else click another mob..
Your graph generates the drone data file...
Someone else generates the mulmun data file...
Your graph reads the data file.. and gets the mulmun data file..

Ill fix it asap.. (dident want a million data files on the server so it just overwrites the data file..)
 
Miner Bots are not showing (since May 2008). Any plans to fix it ?

Should be fixed now... if all of them are "generation X" .. instead of "generation XX" as drones and other robots are...

i cant get entropia tracker client to work
running vista and i downt get anny server comunication with the tracker

may some one can tell me what i make wrong or what i forget

i lokated the chat file and followed the instructions for thr set up but..

yes i did its working fine and dose everything out of sendind it to the server

soo the servercomunication is emty

Maybe someone already mentioned this - but anyway

now that certain LA's have their name in the global message - any thoughts to making a breakout by LA/location?

Before you had a function that would resend pw and username if you had forgotten them

I have totally forgotten them :yay:

What should I do. If you kill the registration connected to my old avatar I can just sign up a new acc.

I'm using the Entropia Tracker Suite since yesterday, but as of today it stopped working (maybe because of the VU?).

It says: Waiting for EU window to be activated. If I active it, it keeps sayin that. Yesterday it was working fine...? :scratch2:

I'm sorry if I'm doing something completely wrong... is it working for you guys since VU 10.8.2?

For some odd reason MindArk decided to change the naming convention of their client.. Which made my program not understand when EU was open...

This is fixed now.. sadly I can not login (just getting a black screen, so i can not test it)

I got the same thing, but I clicked on the Repair Installation option and it replaced a corrupted file, it worked ok after that.

yes.. restarting your client will auto download the newest update.

I have downloaded and using the Entropia Tracker Suite :). I must admit that the gift bonus point system is best marketing catch to get me started using it ;) but of course i have nothing against it. Actually its fun to see how my points are growing (and they are growing really fast :yay:).
Scaned it with virustotal and it is clear. Also well made and auto-update function is really nice - very good program :).
