This thread is for posting the draw, results and schedule for the EU World Boxing Championships. Keep an eye on this thread for news on when all the matches will take place.

Feel free to also use it for discussing matches and smack talking :D

All matches will be held at Billy's Spaceship Afterworld unless otherwise stated.

Draw and results are in post 2, the schedule is in post 3. Both will be updated as the contest goes on.

First rounds are drawn randomly, subsequent rounds follow a knockout format where the winner of match 1 plays the winner of match 2, and so on.

AUTOMATIC means automatic progression to the next round.
F-0 denotes a win by forfeit.

This would be a good idea. An easy way to check is to see if someone keeps hitting for above the max damage though (cause critical hits only come every once in a while). If you notice something out of the ordinary, take a screenie and post it.... hopefully no one does cheat though. This is supposed to be for fun!

Damn, damn and triple damn!!!! I was totally going to enter this competition and just completely forgot :ahh:. I suppose it is too late to enter or substitute for a no-show????????????????:(

If you haven't already given me your times for next weekend please do that asap so that I can arrange your first match. I'm hoping to post a first draft schedule tonight or tomorrow, so the sooner you tell me, the sooner you will get to know when you fight :)

Jenney we probably won't fight till 2 October due to I will be ruturning from Iraq during our match time. On 2 Oct before 18:00 MA time and after 21:00 I will be avalible to fight. So schedule anytime that is good for you outside of thise 3 hours.

Registration is open now and will remain open until 15 September. Entries posted after 15 September will not be accepted.

On 13 September I will contact all registered entrants to ask them to confirm that they will be taking part in the event. If I do not receive a reply by 17 September you will not be allowed to take part. If you know that you will be unable to reply to me during this time (e.g. if you will be away with no forum/e-mail access) please let me know in advance and I will discuss this with you individually.

That seems like a harsh thing to say. I wasn't trying to attack you, merely show you that Oleg did cover that in the opening post of the tournament.

I remember reading it in the opening post, so I thought I would help Oleg out since he is (I assume) very busy organizing the tournament.

And like Larking said. We were just trying to help you know. What answer did you expect from Oleg when you posted that blazing comment? He'd say just the same. We appriciate the work he's putting in this event, so we're trying to help. That's all.

Do you always read the Eula completely before entering U? If not every tiime then at least after every VU ?
It might change you know?
I thought the rules would be the same as the last two years when I was taking part...and if I would read everything I sign every day it would keep me busy for ages.

All I said was: Oleg, 3 days is a bit short...and I am not the only one who didn't answer. For some ppl. life is more than EU and they don't check their pms every day.

1. I agree it's kinda short, but
a) you could send him a PM that you won't be online for a few days right after registration. Some dude said he won't be able to participate on oct 2nd between x and y, 2 weeks earlier. I don't think it would be such a difficult thing to send that PM right after registering, would it?
b) that's no excuse to speak to a person who's organising this whole thing just because he has some good will in unpleasent manner ("Dammit Oleg...I was 3 days away...next time you should give ppl. more than 3 days to answer!")

2. I don't think so. If you wanted to call me pussy, I'd have to call you c*ck or d*ck. If you want to use opposite of dude you could say gal, girl, or chick. That's a bit less disrespective. See the difference?

3. The thing is, that in opposite to you, I READ the posts before. My post WAS necessary because you started moaning in reply to Larkins post. ("How many posts were in that thread again? You think I read them all?"). Remember? That was rude, unnecessary and pointless. So my post was to point you that you didn't have to dig through 27 pages but just 1 post. I believe it WAS relevant to point that.

4. This is a thread about draw and schedules, so please, stop insulting people (who actually tried to help and answer in a respective manner despite you being hostile). I understand your angry and such but this is no place for pointless fights. We agreed that there should be more time to answer and that you didn't read whole first post. That's about it, there's nothing else to add in this thread. In Oleg's name I'm asking you very, very politely not to post here on this issue again as it's not relevant to the topic of the thread. If you wish to insult me and/or Larking further, please do it in PMs. I will no further take part in the junk talk.
