EVENT: The Calypso Fashion Extravaganza! ~ Church of Lootius

Thanks for a fantastic time at the show! I saw so many really cool outfits I had no idea people went so far to collect and own. I always thought that individual expression through clothes and 'Fashion' was a strength of this ... ummm ... 'game' we play, (indeed in RL too) but many folks who play consider it a 'waste of peds' because you absolutely do not need a sparkly evening gown to hit a HOF on a nasty Daspletor or a Tower of Durulium. And, lets face it, over 90 % of the time we interact with others while we play, we are wearing the best armour we own no matter what it looks like. What a breath of fresh air to have an event like this! So Thanks to you, Shadowsong, Arthur, and everyone who helped herding the cats into the corral to make this happen. I am honored to be one of the winners among such a refined group of judges. I look forward to more social events like this. Entropia is more than just a game.

Out of likes. Thanks Manitou for joining and gratz on the win. The Church of Lootius under the firm hand of TheNun will be doing a lot more of this, and with participation from excellent Entropians such as yourself, we're only going to get better.

Well said! I agree completely, and I was also very impressed and a bit surprised to see so many male contestants, when fashion has been assumed to be mostly a female interest in the game.

Good, it would be tragic to have no record of it! I looked for BonnieEU's stream, but only found one that had the end of it without any of the female events.

I am missing some participants too due to snake attacks, but friend streamed the event and atm we are trying to figure out how we can share and move the video material for our editor. 🤣

Checked your recording the day after the event and talk about what a busy evening you had! (Something we who competed didn't notice or really understood and were spared from ) Primarily as Arthur the Streamer/ Arthur the Cameraman/Arthur the Security detail and then also as Arthur the Hunter(!), thanks to those sneaky snake attacks! I bow to you man, what an absolute legend! :bowdown:

We may be able to fill the gaps with what my daughter recorded. She was mostly around the stage area, and was watching your movements too, so may well have covered what you were forced to miss.

I'm already at my limit of who I may appreciate, so for those I've missed - 😍 :clap: :woohoo:

Thanks!!! As a participant, I can say that the crowd's size & enthusiasm made us 100% more excited and motivated than if only a few people had showed up. I'll never forget the sight of that grandstand packed with players when I peeked out of the dressing room! :cheer:
