Love these types of events. The St. Patricks day one on Monria was always fun to do.

Can’t wait to see the turn out and all the costumes and designs!

Nah, I've helped run events and streamed them before. I'd rather others experience that now.

Also I've gotten rid of most of my clothing and such, but if you or someone who's running the event comes to Cyrene, I'll donate some prizes to be handed out in whatever way you see fit during the event.

Thank you very much, all contributions are appreciated. 🙏 I can fly to Cyrene anytime that is convenient for you. Pity you're not joining, but if you ever feel up to being involved in events again, please give us a shout, we can always use more hands.

First of all, thank you to everyone who signed up for The Calypso Fashion Extravaganza! :yay:

We’re just a few hours away from the big event, taking place at the iconic New Oxford Catwalk.

Here’s everything you need to know about tonight's event.


Evening's Agenda

Backstage Preparations 45min - 1 hour before.
Participants will be able to practice, be teamed up and lined up backstage, ready to take the spotlight.

Opening Speech
TheNun, Master of the Church of Lootius, will kick off the event with a brief and joyful speech, spreading Lootius' blessings to all.

Catwalk Showcase
Participants will walk the catwalk one by one in the planned order below.

They’ll step out, strike a pose, add a little flair with a shake of their hips, then walk back and out again.

We will have a short break to switch teams after each catwalk.

20 min break
We will have 20 min. break for judges to find the winners. Afterwards winners will be announced in the same order as above.

Judging
  • The Judges, Shadowsong and TheNun, will score each participant on a scale from 1 to 5, with 5 being the best.
  • Every participant will receive a score.
  • Prizes will be awarded for each category and gender.
Tiebreaker Rules
If participants tie for a position (e.g., a shared first or second place), the lowest position will be removed. For example, if there’s a tie for first place, no third place will be awarded, but the third place will move up to second place, and both top-winners will recieve a first place prize.

Prizes
All prizes will be handed out after the show in the backroom of New Oxford Catwalk.

Live Broadcasting & Commentary

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, backstage, onstage and especially front of stage.

Our contestants were a great group of friendly and creative Entropians, who participated with gusto, each bringing another cause to smile, with creative walks, curious accessories and a general excellent spirit.

To all who showed up and delivered our most prized reward - an appreciative audience - a deep, sincere bow in respect for your generous enthusiasm and warm support. You all helped B.A.B.E. 💫 🌞🌟

There will be trimmed highlights published, but for those who missed the show, here are the raw captures from my POV.


The primary stream is being trimmed to remove some "dead air" sections when the streamer looted a memory leak. I will update with link when done.
