I've never been in the feffoid cave - How is the spawn in general? Even though the spawn is low, is the respawn fast enough for continuous shooting?

I think there are only a handful (5-8?) in there, it was included for completeness of locations more than a place to do an Iron Challenge.

Medium dense spawn of F.Outcast to Warrior around 691,761 between Zychion and Chug's, mixed with some Faucervix and Cornundos. Probably suitable for beginners of the mission who feel overwhelmed at Fort Fury, easier to avoid higher maturities.

There are 15 feffoids of outcast-bandit* maturity in the cave, and they don't respawn - once you've killed them and picked up the crystal, there's nothing else to do.

* done it dozens of times and never seen a guard or anything bigger. Positions of the mobs are fixed but maturity is not - you can get 12 outcasts and 3 bandits, or 3 outcasts and 12 bandits.

I believe there is still a spawn of elites SE of Minopolis TP. If you travel directly SE from the TP, there is kind of a peninsula with an outpost. Just outside to the west of this outpost is the elite spawn.

Not sure if it's still there, I haven't been there in a long time.

In fact, I just checked the latest version of the explorer map 1.10 and it's there!

First it's not north of chugs but north east, or better said, said of Zychion, but more important, there's nothing there.

There are two other bosses, but they are not Feffoids, they're a Chomper and a Feffox.

Normal Feffoid are approximately 65% Cold 35% Impact

The bosses apply lots of damage over time effects in the form of Cold damage, I believe, so the Cold resistance is even more valuable against them.

While i am cleaning the Feffoid cave since 3 months already, It's also a good place to do the Daily Category 2 Mission (kill 100 Feffoid),

Get in, Kill 15, Get crystals for daily npc, Get out, Get in, Kill 15, Get out, Get in, repeat until you've killed 100.
