Flickering In Windowed Mode

I'm not sure what happened but I am suddenly experiencing a lot of screen flickering when I run EU in windowed mode, yet it runs completely fine in full screen.

The problem arose without me making any system/software changes, so maybe it happened in some patch?

Just posting this to see whether others are experiencing it as well or whether it's just on my side.

problem solved itself after not one but two restarts lol
