FYI: Forum maintenance complete

Thank you for your patience during the extended forum maintenance during the past two days.

The datacenter where PCF was being hosted is being decommissioned soon, so it was necessary to move the server to a new datacenter.
The good news is that the new server is slightly more powerful than the previous one.

Please report any bugs or unexpected forum behavior in this thread.

A lot of smilies appear to have changed name to be replaced by ? or even multiples of '?'

Update: I found 5 or 6 smilies with broken image links and have corrected them.
Please let me know if you find any other broken smilie or image links.

They seem to be working now, not sure why your old post got changed to ??

I'll investigate, but not sure that those can easily be restored, unfortunately.

I dont know if you are able to see what their old :name: used to be, I can manually edit my posts to put them right over the weekend otherwise it just looks like I have asked a question at the end of some of my posts with the '?' when this is not the case. The smilies all seem to be there in any case.

There could be 100 or more smilies broken - mostly of the newer type from July 2020 forum migration. Many forum users may just not have noticed it yet.

I will hold off manually fixing my posts, in case there is a general fix that can sort it out for everyone.

Please search for those missing images under "Your Images" in the Gallery and replace the BB codes in your forum post with updated codes from the new forum gallery.

Indeed, it seems to be an isolated problem with the built-in XenForo smilies.
All of the custom PCF smilies that are defined in the admin control panel seem to be working fine.
 
I only checked a few threads, but it looks like all the images in the first posts of the Creatures subforum (and possibly the replies, I haven't checked) are broken.

Looks like the same problem as mine. In which case solution will be same to replace the BB codes with new ones (See 711's reply to me above)

I can't help it, but I'm missing an image in the gallery, which I used in the footer. The old code for it was:

I've recently fixed my signature that had lost it's image. I just discovered the images in my diary are all broken too though (http://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/forums/showthread.php?1084-Wistrel-s-Diary) - should I make a note to go fix them all or will a general fix be in the works saving the trouble?

Out of interest, on forum migration stuff, a long time ago, wasn't there a notion of groups on here? Was that all lost during the migration? Another thing, when the diaries got shut down, we were told to use a blog feature. I can't remember if I ever posted much in the blog as didn't like it as much as a diary sub forum. Where those somehow migrated? If so, where?
