Well, I hope you enjoy the time off from EU when you get your account locked for running a lottery in violation of the EULA...
 
Actualy, the lottery is seperate from EU, so, correct me if im wrong, but I think its perfectly legal according to EULA. Maby MA will ban his account, but they would at least have to give him the tt value of his items and skills back, because he dint techinichley break EULA

I think you might need to read the EU EULA again.

There is not a single word about any lotteries. :wise:
 
again, notice that the lottery is completely seperate from EU. therfore, it is not in violation of EULA, as far as I can see.

Separate from EU?

Tickets are bought in-game as in-game items, and the prizes are PEDs to be delivered in-game.

How is this separate from EU?

I had a quick glance at the EULA and you are correct that there is no mention of lotteries, specifically, but there is some vague stuff about un-official transactions and I believe people have in the past been, perhaps not locked, but certainly 'asked to stop' this type of thing.

I don't really have a problem with it myself, though it's not something I would participate in (just as I don't the UK National Lottery) - just a friendly warning that I suspect your idea will be quickly nipped in the bud.

I don’t think the person that made the ad was referring to any type of PE lotto, but that your local lotto place (if you have one) would be much better to play then EU…

Well that is how I think it was meant to mean.
 
While I do disagree with some of the mods actions here sometimes, I think it's a bit harsh to bash MB like that. It was after all MA's idea to not let giveaways take place (yeah, wtf is wrong with them? :scratch: ). It is also not MB who owns the forum anymore, so it might be better to redirect the complaint to 711. I do think it's a bit lame to forbid such kind of drawings, though. I understand your frustration from having this locked but I think it's better to be pissed at MA than the mod who just told you what he has to tell because of his task as a forum mod.

Hope it all gets sorted out.

I dont know about werever you come fromm, but lotto in USA has horrible odds(1:100,000,000), and this is 1:100 odds...
 
you guys ought to check out HsVW's store, besides tickets, he is a great artist, and a lot of his stuff is for sale there.

but in fact I have to correct it. I am the owner of the shop EMERALD LAKES MALL, FLOOR 2, SHOP 11 and the Art Gallery within, but I am not the author of the paintings. Those were painted by a good friend of mine and a great Sci-fi, Fantasy & Horror Artist George Maxon.

Of course everybody is welcome to the Gallery - all the pictures are for sale.
