So a friend just posted a pic of quite a few players (including myself) meeting up in Las Vegas a few years back, and I'm getting nostalgic lol.
So, lets do this again, on a large scale with a lot of planning and preparation...
I'd like to arrange the most massive EU meetup in the decade+ that EU has been around, for something of this scale we need a BIIIIIG timeline (no pun intended). So I'm thinking late summer 2015 about a year from now.
The place? I'm thinking Lake Tahoe on the California/Nevada Border in the US.
Why Tahoe?
1st: Because everyone should visit this place at least once in their lifetime.
2nd: Lake, mountains, breweries, casinos, plenty of hotels
3rd: Just trust me, you'll love it, and I can likely set up something epic here.
Requirements: Don't be an asshole
So here's the preliminary thought....
Make a post in this thread (or PM me if you prefer) if your interested in joining in. In the second post I'll add your name (unless you prefer your anonymity) with the status of "registered". Come six or so months from now we move to the "confirmed" stage, as at this point I will know how many are planning to come out and can determine our options based on communal budget. If its just a few, sure, hotels some drinking and gambling, a good time. If its BIG (pun intended) will see what we can do to rent a yacht or a floor of a casino, serious party time stuff.
To clarify, I'm implying budget for a collectively planned event not hotels and food etc., so if you want to come, look at your personal expenses, then think, "hey, I'd throw $X in if we rented a hall, a boat, etc."
When you "register" in this thread, please PM me a rough dollar amount you're comfortable spending for collectively planned activity(s). I'll analyze the total pool, make sure its as balanced and fair for all parties as possible then let all who wish to "confirm" know where the median budget is per person and we can collectively plan how epic to make this. After this point we can determine how to manage the financial end of things to make our reservations.
So lets see whose into this over the next six months shall we?
*Below is for suggestions from potential participants for this meetup*
