OMG ... if you haven't been to "Block 22" yet, then get your asses on over there, because it is THE best designed and decorated nightclub ingame as far as I'm concerned, and I've seen some pretty fabulous ones.

Lykke PM'd me ingame to let me know about the Grand Opening, which I'm glad she did because I hadn't yet read this thread. I was on a hunt with my brother, but when I discovered that Lykke was ingame, it was a good opportunity to deliver the hat I said I was giving her to complete her sexy new Prancer outfit.

Well, right after I arrived, I was immediately impressed. Usurper my dear, you did a superb job of outfitting this club to give it the look and feel of a real club. Your creativity, style, and sense for layout and comfort put it over the top. So many people were coming up to me and saying hello, which was an incredibly warm welcome, but I was so taken with what I was seeing that I knew right away that I had to get pics and post them in this thread to share with the rest of the community. Here they are ...


First picture should always be the hostess (or host) ... and in this case, our Grand Opening Hostess was none other than "Usurper" ...

There was even a placque directing everyone to the music site ...

As I entered the club, I caught Lykke and Ido dancin' up a storm in the nicely designed dance area ...

As I worked my way into the room, every nook and cranny had a tastefully decorated area ... this sitting area was quite inviting ...

I only turned my back for a minute, but I guess that's all it took for Lykke and her sexy self to jump up on the bar and provide a little entertainment (lucky stiffs at the bar, huh?), but Freezer looked like he was holdin' his own, while Caveman seemed to be preoccupied with something else ... is that bar setup unique or WHAT ...

Everywhere I looked, someone had found themselves a nice corner to boogie down in ... here, Crime was doin' his time ... in time with the music that is ...

Even SubZero tried a little air dancing in the corner ... the well-placed artwork just really sets it off nicely ...

However, it looked like Scoutman may have had a bit too much at the bar, but his predicament didn't stop Caveman, Ido and Lykke from continuing their synchronized bar dance ... nice job there guys (and gal) ...

As we were all mingling and enjoying the party atmosphere, who do you think should show up ... of course, none other than the Dance Floor Queen herself, Asti ... far be it from her to be left out of a party somewhere ... upon her entrance, the fellas started swarming around her ... ok, Lykke too ...

I have NO clue what happened, but it must have been something bad ... ok, maybe good, knowing Asti, because it caused her to bring out "the club" ... I tried to explain to her that she was IN the club, and she didn't need to bring her own ...

Freezer wanted a dance, so I told him I would give him a quicky since I was about to sign out ... well THAT turned into a little chuckle and a few snickers, so I showered him in champagne while I did a little headbanging ...

I sent a soc chat message to Moonie, and told him to hurry up and get his ass up to the party so he could see how awesome the club was, so upon his arrival, I gave him a proper hello by showering him with champagne as well ... not so good for the Boar though I think ...

When I checked back at the dance area, JoeTaxpayer was doin' a little headbangin' of his own, not to mention Urso and Ender gettin' into it, but our Super Hostess Ms. Usurper was content for the moment just making sure that everyone was having a good time ...

As I turned to check out the whereabouts of Lykke, I ran into Nicholas standing under the well-placed club sign ... everything was so nicely done ...

I didn't have to go far to catch up with Lykke ... her hot self was whippin' up a dance storm on the sofa in the corner ... I think she had to try out all the pieces of furniture, but hey ... what furniture wouldn't like HER dancin' on it ...

People started shifting around from place to place, and after I danced a little more with Freezer, it was time for me to bid farewell, but not before throwing a few kisses around, and not before taking a long-shot of the club ...

Even though my time was short, I enjoyed it immensely, and got to see a few people that I haven't seen in a while, which is always nice. However, after I left, a little birdie told me that Scoutman went and did something rather odd. He went off with Ido, and when he came back, he had put ON a few pounds ... but still lookin' all cool, right?

If you haven't made it to "Block 22" ... make sure you get there, because it's quite a unique place indeed, and provides the type of atmosphere that definitely puts you into a party spirit ... even if you just want to sit in a comfortable corner and chat with friends instead of gettin' your groove on in the designated dance area.

Have a seat up at the bar, and be one of the lucky few who get to see the hotties like Lykke twist and turn to the delight of everyone ... ok, Ido and Caveman were hotties too. Although you may want to be alert when Scoutman bellies up to the bar, I saw him in a condition (YOU saw the pic) that might produce something that would't look good spewed all over Ambuli or Prancer skin.

at the storie MindStar9, really cool how you somehow always manage to shoot everything And THANKS for an awesome party. That place is really much better than even pictures can show. It's much darker and cosier - and like a real disco!

I'm glad Ido told me about it. That was just the joy and fun I needed before "leaving" game for 12 days! I will be back though and then I hope to join another colorfull party with great and fun people/friends in EU!

Thx Lykke, I really enjoy doing the pic storylines ... it's the pics that ultimately drive the stories, and after taking lots of them, it's a fun thing to look through them to see just which ones will work to make it interesting and provide a laugh or two. I really need to do more in my feature storytelling subforum. I have a few ideas, so maybe after getting things a little more settled IRL I'll give it a shot.

In the meantime ... "Block 22" is definitely a place I'll go back to for more enjoyable time with friends. I was so inspired by the decor that it gave me an idea about the "C" apt on the floor in the building at Sakura where JSA resides. How about the "Purple Passion Pit" (Triple "P") ... Ooooo that sounds cool ... I now have all kinds of ideas going thru my head, so may get together with my contacts for "stuff" and get busy soon.

Thank you again Usurper, for giving us yet another place to hang out with friends and enjoy a good time, but not just any place ... a beautifully decorated environment with the feel and atmosphere of a real classy club ... superbly done my dear.

To Lykke ... yes, you have a hat face Hon, and you wear them well. The white Queens and white top with the Prancer shorts and hat rocked, not to mention how well it goes with the Enigma and Havok you wore underneath. See you when you get back ingame ... enjoy your company and give Peter a hug from us.

I too, was there,
as documented by MS9. It is a great place. It made me feel like it was the old days (year ago) when I had loads of parties to go to. There was a level of fun, that seems to have been misplaced in recent times. I expect to find myself there again. I really enjoyed it.
