right click the gungnir to open vehicle inventory. Then you should be able once it's open to right click and close it but there is no close option. It's just another open vehicle inventory option but it's greyed out.
You can still click on the x in the box that shows the inventory, but i fyou have auction, technician, andother boxes open at the time it's a bit annoying moving things around.
