It`s one thing to ask bugs to be fixed.

It`s another thing to expect game to be perfect. There is no such a thing. Microsoft Windows acts up time to time and they have decades of experience, basically unlimited budget and top brains. Top of the top brains.

And it`s totally irrational thing to use this ask for perfection as an excuse to exploit the occasional lapses in system.

So while MA is investigating and deciding what to do maybe take what people without any insight say with a bit of salt, speculations are fun but its not facts.

Once again his statements don’t add up.

In this 3 hour period there was 60k globals? Well from this month and last there was a difference of 40k globals. Still sounds to me like he turned loot on for the event.

He's not talking about the # of globals.

He is talking about the total value of the globals.

I checked EL ealier today, that one Nusul mob or w/e it was, went from no globals at all over the week to almost 60k peds in total value over a very short period of time. (like 1 or 2 hours?)

Ill always remember the first "happy hour" when we asked about it on the forums and the employee literally responded "check your privilege".

Ive been trying to hint to people that the return system is rigged or bugged, havent deposited seriously since "happy hours" came into existence.

They drain the players just to turn up the slider and give it all back to a select few.
 
my guess is that the outcome of this little oppsie daisy is gonna be no more dev spawns in the foreseeable future :D
 
I was on Ark last night , saw the constant global on small Nusul , tempting as it was I knew something wasn't right and decided not to go
even myself and another player warned in Ark chat that this is what was going to happen , the possibility of bans for exploiting a bug

Think of it this way , when a vending machine is spitting out items because it is broken , doesn't mean everything is free , it's still considered stealing if you take it for all it gives

sure but when not everyone who was hunting there is locked it makes 0 sense whatsoever, people got 30-40 more globs than me and are running around free
 
True , but that maybe due to a combined amount of Bad choices made by players in question in the past , like if you already have a criminal record you may get jail time stealing from a broken vending machine were as a 1st time offender prolly not

Why the same one whos behaving and acting like.. they shouldnt do so? Why is always the same "Trouble" people ?
Is it the same you did with the ARIS Instance ? You had a decent run there too ? Whats wrong with you people ? All I can see you are doing mistakes over and over, then you complaining about being guilty. You have ABUSED a bug, thats for sure. MA will def have their word about it. Why there was no Ubers hunting them Nusuls? Why ? Because they do not get involved into these shady things, thats why.

On a side I do understand your frustation, but on the other hand, as @Gente Malparido have stated. Was tempting but he didnt exploit a BUG.

If you dont like what people are saying, dosent mean you are Right.
As you are banned, you have time to reflect what you are doing Wrong/Good and then maybe you should re-consider your actions.

"Happy hours" have happened before, but if is as some say always same players then is highly suspicious to be in right place and time many times.

In past any error from MA side were honoured and things moved on (apart from big bugs like the guy who figured how to make high level limited amp unlimted in some way).

I wasn't involved in this but if saw nusul globalling then may have been tempted, not to abuse but trying to catch the loot wave or whatever.

Same people every time suggest some leak, or they figured something others have not (which would not be abuse but knowledge of system).

Not sure tbh

When something like this happened in years gone by, Marco would come on forum and simply say it's dynamic.

But coming back to the reality, All i can see Arkadia Devs have pushed some buttons, to make some flames (hofs,globals) on chat with their Spawning EVENT (Orathans) and they forgot to turn off the loot after.

on the other hand, If i`m out hunting whatever and i see i have a GOOD RUN. I Belive its time for me to get back what ive lost over the time, so OFC i will still kill whatever.
I dont find it an ABUSE of the player hunting whatever they are hunting. (UNLESS they have done something wrong, using exploits, bugs, cheating, scamming other players whatever)

I did nothing wrong by hunting Nusul. Loot was normal then I started doing good. First time experience, I wasn’t around for those other “happy hours” and knew nothing about that or those. Unless you have some evidence to say I’m abusing something, everything you say is slander. I played just like everyone else. I’m being singled out and that’s obvious.

#FREEWRONGKIDDIED lives on! Lol poor guy actually reported a bug n got banned for longer than the others abusing it in silence for literal months which cost us all $ if you do aris dailies so i def feel bad for that 1 and wrong message sent by MA if u report u get worst punishment out of all involved. And now made it a week out of jail. Rough luck there for sure. I think you think should get time served from previous sentence that was massive overkill and extra $ made removed. GL
 
Damn, as always, I'm an outsider at this golden carnival of life.
Yesterday I was at an event in Arkadia, spent three hours collecting bottles. Then I went to shoot some Nusuls at the Celest Outpost. Not a single golden spiral. Damn, what's wrong with me?
 
Time to act hard on these guys, we don't need to pretend like they didn't knew it was a bug. The locked people got history of being locked for dumb stuff earlier and i think that should be considered in further punishments.

You have been reported multiple times through your career here for not following the rules, WKD just came out of a six month ban. I am gonna guess the others too have some kind of history.

It is most likely a precaution for flagged accounts. I bet you guys will be able to log on today again.
 
Any chance we get an official stance on this, please @Ludvig|MindArk ?

It's necessary to clear some of people's questions and doubts.

Main questions would be, is it players paying somewhere else for this boosted events? Are players paying often with reduced loot in order for loot to go towards something else? After last saturday, these questions became legit, sort-of, and it would be fair to have an official point.

I worry we may never get an official answer to these questions because that may reveal too much about how the Loot system works and players knowing how it works means they can work the system to their advantage.

Nah, it is more fun when people worry and we get to see all the crazy theories! Did you hear MA fired half the staff?

But yeah. Would be nice to hear from an official that it won't affect loot (even if it would be a lie). Arkadia PP I forgot name of said it doesn't affect loot but he doesn't work for MA.

Also give PPs panic shut down button. It is pure stupid that Arkadia has to reach someone at MA in order to shut it down. The money must come from somewhere, if not us then MA which in extension means us

Obviously not askign for the details they usually don't share anywhere - how loot works. But surely they can give a statement on it. Was is bugged, was it normal? do we all need to go for nusuls during events?
PPs have and NEED to make their events as well and it's nice they are trying to engage the communities across the universe. Kudos for that, for all PPs. Just need to make sure it's done right and we don't suffer for it.
These are legit concerns now.
 
Indeed, a statement would be in place. A perfect time to address some other concerns aswell
