Has anyone had their account locked for over 8 weeks?

My account was locked on December 10th pending an investigation. I understand the reason it was locked and actually agree with it - and have been providing everything that has been asked of me since then - but since the initial questions were asked of me I've been left on deaf ears for 8 weeks. Is this normal?

I'm just wondering if anyone else has waited this long on support - it's starting to feel a little ridiculous :cautious:

For anyone looking at this in a similar situation - I received a final update and got my account unlocked on April 3rd, 2021.

I've never been locked, but i was waiting on a followup from a support case from the end of november. they got back to me this week, so maybe there's a backlog they've finally caught up with :)
 
Ask for an update on your support case.
 
I was locked for a week + friends accounts.

We did account sharing for auction house, I was using other peoples accounts for extra slots (all IDs etc provided).

I was told account sharing is against TOS, so we stopped doing it, but it did take a while to argue with them and provide proof and let them investigate.

So unless you put 100k$+ into game, account sharing is illegal, for them ubers, it's legal :)

This is only time I ever been locked under "suspicious trading". I have deposited a ton, asked to raise the limits etc, everything has been fine otherwise.

PS! I got help on unlocking from Loki from Live Support. Go chat with them, provide whatever they ask and more. I'm sure they and you both know the reason for lock, so go clear it up.

Yeah me, I have been locked out for a month now.. Chatted with support like 4 times. I think I chatted to the whole norse and greek pantheon by now. Did everything they asked. They escalated my ticket 2 or 3 times. I made a support case too, ofcourse with some follow up posts for feedback. But since I posted my support case a month ago. I have had ZERO feedback from Mindark. I dont even know why I am locked from the game. All I did was just hop in every now and then for some quick trading. No feedback. No clue why I am locked... They always replied fast to me in the past but now it seems like I am talking to a chair. I noticed the support ticket got updated a couple of times but there are no replies. Really shitty. The online chat is fast and helpful but the technical ticket is not. I'm still waiting.
 
I was once locked for a week, and I found chat support to be utterly useless. They'd always deflect. I'm sorry to hear you're going through it, it is very frustrating.

No one gets locked just like that. There must be something or someone who you traded that did something wrong.
 
Not sure if out of topic . . . But

I got locked for a week ++ Because the account decided to select the country by itself & was not willing to change. They still wont listen that I don't use a VPN & i am not able to change the country on Accounts page. Soo they locked me when I did my first deposit & I still get locked after every deposit.

Just updating that it's been 11 weeks now and still no updates. I'm baffled by this. I received 3 responses from support in the first two weeks and then radio silence. Makes me feel like they forgot!

Did they mention any recent deposits or ask for any info at all ??

For me it was the deposit location that messed up & got it fixed after 3 weeks now.

Try to ask them what is the exact issue & what you can do help them finish it up faster.

I've offered to give any information requested already and I started a new support case - but still radio silence. I was told there was an investigation that needed to finish first regarding another player I traded with, but it's been 11 weeks since then... It feels a little unfair that I'm stuck here with absolutely nothing I can do and with radio silence because of a different players problem/issue???

I even offered support to just take the items/PED back that was involved in the trade, I seriously just want to play and would rather take a small loss than to be stuck in limbo like this - but like I mentioned already, just no response for weeks!!

So I decided to make a new support case at the beginning of this month, but never received a response. Now after 3 weeks they just closed that support case without any updates. I mean this is just ridiculous.... How can you lock out your own customers for MONTHS without an update? Opened another support case and let's see if I get a response at all....

Yea, the one lone support guy has long caught on to this "click bait" tactic, and now it just makes him angry. Best case scenario he simply deletes it and goes back to flappy bird, worst case he strings you along for weeks with vague support tricks like, "Ill forward this on to the development team".

Update: This Thursday will make it 12 weeks since my account was locked. All the new support cases I made were closed, live chat support is saying they can't do anything.

How many more weeks until a response, place your bets....
 
If live support isn't helping you, then no one will. Actual support doesn't read tickets -- just keep bombarding them with support cases referring to the main one until someone wakes up.

They also seem to prioritize cases with added attatchments, i always provide a copy of my id no mater the issue and i newer waited more then 12hrs. Or mayby i`m just Swedish.

I made a new case to ask for an update and I was told that the "investigation" regarding the other player is still ongoing and that I'll get an update once they're done, followed by the ticket being closed. Still no response on the original support case though.

Most probably yours are connected to the case you reported some time ago, when somebody broke into your acc and transferred all your funds to other accounts.

Yes, MA replied to my support case that this was due to "a large-scale investigation". I hope/expect because of that.

mindark's investigations are even slower than their development, better don't hold your breath! :laugh:

Well, this gave me time to explore other RCE games. Learn new things like blockchain technology (EOS and WAX|). Reading about the 69M $ NFT that was sold was even nicer because NFTs weren't new to me by then.
