Question: Hello guys! Not sure if this is a scam or not..

You should consider giving this project up and cut your losses. Arkadia doesn't receive much love from MA. It's likely the drop rate will remain as is.

You say money doesn't matter here for you, what about your time and effort? You are already quite frustrated, which is 100% understandable.
How will you feel if you never manage to complete a perfected set? You could call it a scam, I just call it bad design.

It's likely the way they want to allow a perfected set to be made through trading with other players other parts since it seems like you are the only real grinder there, your odds aren't in your favor.

Think about it, there's a high probability you won't be able to complete a full set of perfected before the extinction level event assuming that Arkadia won't join the genesis project. That means all your progress in the mission will be gone, we're not even 100% sure if all the items of each PP will be "destroyed/deleted" either.

All we know is that we'll get compensation, whatever that means - do you think it's wise to gamble here?

I personally say no, but that's just me. Do what you want and best of luck to you.

i was in arkadia UG last week tax is 3%... i have a quest there but there is literally no MU that repay 3% so i will not touch that.
Badgers, Togolossi, IFN Bots all of them carry no MU these days to grind on taxed.
even less interesting the moon

as per the reason, well PP sold the DEEDS for AUD and AMD so the tax is to pay "dividends" to the deed owners.
then we got the problem that tax and no MU has destroyed the cycling in underground (moon deed were a joke since start)

i wait for Genesis Probe news before THINKING To start the Stable Assassinator project
(my Viceroy costed me about 5k ped, most probably i will receive TT if the agreement fails)
same thing for Neff stim pack, for Zorra, for the imperium armors , not forgetting Shagadi, kulokhar, fore daggers, and Herman items.
this could lead to mass quitting in game.

and for? a useless space development project that exist just in the mond of some ND True Believers..... :)

If I didn't show you a screenshot with all my loot in 1 hour, you probably wouldn't have believed me.
As I promised I show you my loot every day, but today I had to abandon the mission because I didnt loot any pincer in 1h.

What's really interesting is that, although I wasn't with KAAK in the team, the moment I entered in the dungeon, I entered in his dungeon !! (as if it were public).
Game didnt charged my 12 badges, but I entered the man's instance..I entered over him :))
Imagine you pay 12 insignia entrance fee , and in the middle of the dungeon some other guys join you !

People may hate me for saying it but if PP’s don’t switch systems and no longer exist compensation for items will probably be based on tt value

That is what I think too. Going of past compensations that MA have done in the past. It is always usually based on TT values only and not MU. Only time they do pay MU is certain circumstances. Because there is so many items in other planets, I do not see MA affording TT+MU compensation.

Not really the "main talking point" here but, That's pretty much how several other instances work too (like molochs), if you don't start it with yourself as the only team-member and then disband team the moment you enter, then its a "public" instance and other people can join in as they see fit.

Only downside with the "empty team" variant is that if you for some reason exit the instance, you can't get back in without paying again.

Why would they? They will slap a new name on your items and leave the stats as is. It is ridiculous to even think they would just compensate players with TT value of these. Sure they make mistakes but that would instantly bankrupt them which they know so it would also make it illegal.

So you did not read the thread announcing Genesis Probe? Go read it again and read the wording they used. They clearly stated "Compensation"

Planet Calypso, ROCKtropia, Next Island, ARIS, Monria, Howling Mine and Secret Island will all adopt the Genesis Project technology. However, any existing planet that elects not to transition to the new development tools will face a cataclysmic extinction event within four years ( Hold Over Period). Players holding deeds or items from planets choosing not to transition will be offered compensation options via other participating planets.

The only thing I don't know how they are going to sort is estates. They won't TT your armors and weapons. It would alienate such a large part of the player base so the game would be screwed.
 
I also did the full dungeon access. Spent about the same amount as Zana. With far lower-level equipment than he has. As of now, I think there are only three, maybe four of us who can enter. I moved to Aris because it felt like there was no way to finish with the drop rate and the fact that only 3 players can enter. Also, I have entered your instance before. I had to leave and make a team to get my own. But yes, they need to look at this.

We will see what they will do in 3-4 years time then.

Do not get me wrong MA have made statements/announcements before and changed their mind or scrapped things altogether or re-worded things later down the line.

So yeah they might decide to keep the items from other planets. But deeds they will have no choice but to do compensation for. Unless they will offer them a swap deed on a different planet? No idea what route they will go down yet.

But what ever route they choose players will be the ones worse off and losing out of what the value was of the old items or deeds.

You’re thinking like a rational person. History shows their decisions aren’t very rational or logical 😂🤣
 
This is just how MA balances things, the DSEC armor has been out for 3-4 years and thers 2 (2!!!!!) registred drops of the 12 TB HDD used for the perfected upgrade, so even if anyone wanted to spend 2 full augumented set for perfected (bad math) they would have to wait 10+ years still so all in all MA blows and leave the PP hanging dry ....
 
Today loot was still bad. ( 2 adj , 1 imp and 1 perf in 2h )
I heard MA is talking to Arkadia devs for a change of loot. I hope is true and soon will be fixxed.
 
TBF to Ark, since I have swapped my focus to Aris and Hyperion armor, I have looted 11 [Adjusted Hyperion Armor Catalyst] , 3 [Improved Hyperion Armor Catalyst] and 1 [Augmented Hyperion Armor Catalyst]. This is from about 24ish days spent. It's true that I didn't need to spend 1.15 million ped to even get to the point where I could loot the rare parts to upgrade the armor. but it's still going to be at least 5+ years if I try to do this on my own without buying anything... and also not to highjack Zana's posting.

Today I hunted with KAAk 1.5 hours , I didnt get any Pincers. I had to leave dissapointed . The loot inside dungeon is very , very bad.

Little update from here too : BP-130 tier3 , 4.5h 3 adjusted and 1 improved.
3h solo + 1.5h with Dr Zana joined shooting and hunted separately!!
Zana 0 drops with mod nano T10.
Cancelled cave due ,very poor loot and no drops!

i am pretty sure they paid more than TT for the old space ship owners (the one back when you had to use them to get to Crystal Palace). they got 90K ped? not sure could be way off on the amount. but as you said above "in certian circumstances"

also not sure if that was the only time but was loooong ago.

also - tin foil hat on - they will suck up ped to pay MU on the deleted items (doing it now already for months? j/k) but we will all have to pay for it too ...

There won't be deleted items.

RJ himself posted the quote that explicitly said so while still trying to fear monger for whatever reason.

They absolutely said items will be deleted also deeds, you will get compensated for these

They said for items we will get compensated with options from other planets.

For deeds I have no clue at all how they gonna sort it out and luckily it is not my headache.

Players holding deeds or items from planets choosing not to transition will be offered compensation options via other participating planets.

Bad comparison. Since no one is looking for 12 TB HDD (since no one was still going to do DSEC Perfected, moreover, even 8 TB HDD no one needs). They drops from OTIS Commander, hunted only once in few months just for a cross-planetary quest.
In this topic, on the contrary. The person is purposeful and works hard.

Because today I was in the dungeon again for 2 hours and only looted 3 adj and 2 imp, I decided to take a break from the game until the problem is fixxed. Then I will come back to continue getting the armor.

They do not need to say "deleted" for people to understand, any time MA state compensation it means what it means. It means those items will be gone. Why are you making such a huge issue over it and in denial for?

I explained what they will probably do with deeds. They will probably offer deeds from other planets that have signed up to the new Genesis Probe system. No one know if those deed replacements on other planets will have the same value as the ones on the defunct planets.

is this armor account bound? anyone have a piece of this armor to compare to mod viceroy? that would be a good comparison.
 
I remember the days when these words were said and the response echos today....stop complaining, you don't know what your doing, stop blaming the game....go cycle 20 trillion dollars and 80 years of your life what not BS.....irony is the very people who used to spew this nonsense are the ones sat here today telling people not to depo for than $10 on this indie game....so all along we did know what we were doing and the issue was never our end....
