This Diploma focusses on single technological procedures required to transform solar energy to thermal and/or electrical energy.

The chapter "Work Results" details the economic viability for the use of photovoltaic and collector systems assigned for domestic housing in southwestern Slovakia.

. The main part of this chapter was in comparing finnancal costingnes between sun energy and mains, where has been sun energy input expenses compared to motnhly fee for electrical energy import. Calculations has acknowledged lower economical constigness especially in using heated supply water with termal collectors. This concept of heting water showed itself to be very payable and has huge potential of application into praxis. Photovoltaic systems had also lower activity expenses, but not as much. Their application is therefore possible only in South parts of Slovakia. Purpose of diploma work is in informing wide community about possibilities of utilizing sun energy as ecological and economical resource of energy accessible in our latitude.

The main part of this chapter compared financial outlay between solar energy and mains supply energy. The setup expense of Solar Energy was compared to monthly fee for electrical energy supplied by mains. The calculations indicate that a lower cost may be achieved when using solar energy to generate heated water supply with thermal collectors. The concept of heating water proved to be very cost-effective and has this technique is therefore economically viable to put into practice. Photovoltaic systems tested also showed lower expenses, but not so much compared to the thermal collectors. The application of these photovoltaic systems tested is possible in southern parts of Slovakia. I'd argue that you don't explain why 'only' the south can use the photovoltaic system as all it says is that it doesn't work out as cheap.

This should be the reason i guess.
