Hi (yall guys are great BTW awsum)
I'm looking for a mechanics website I mean like
If you use a long blade it affects skills this this and this
If you use a gun it affects skills this this and this.
I heard a long blade hepls you get hit points faster
I heard some skills need to be unlocked and get unlocked
after you reach a certain level.
If you use a scope does that help your aim skill
Is there a way to see if the weapon your using is at maxed level
for you and maybe yu should use another better weapon that might
help you skill faster

Sort on column "Hidden"

It is supposed to increase the effect of your hit proffesion on (not maxed?) weapons while you use those attachments.

If it increases or even decreases skillgain rate is disputed, we don't know enough about effect of scopes and sights (yet). Few tests here on EF though. Not conclusive when it comes to skillgain effect imo.

And skilling Melee in the beginning on low budget i'd suggest using Shortblades.

HP isn''t hit points..it's health.

Look in the skills section here and the sticky about skills and professions here:-

https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/forums/skills/65283-impact-skills-professions.html

That tells you basically what skill contributes to each profession.

To see if a weapon is maxed....right click the item (works on all items not just weapons) in inventory or auction and choose the info panel there at the bottom are two sets of numbers...you wan't 10/10 there. That panel also tells you the recommended level, and if the item has SIB (skill increase bonus) ..you may find you are past that bonus or not high enough to get it yet so it's worth checking.

The best way to see the differences for your avatar and skills is to hit the auction and right click the items images there for comparison..it will become clear quickly there.

Only certain items can be maxed easily...most UL items are maxed at pro level 100 only which makes them not very economical for low skilled avatars. Opalo you will max out really fast, justifier mk2 you will need pro level 100 to max ..as an example. Same goes for most tools and weapons...the (L) or TT versions are easiest to max.

Scopes and sights increase your stats and a search on EF will find quite a few threads to confuse you on this subject.
