Question: How feasible is the Cyrene armor mission to start grinding for a new player?

I'm still very new as my highest profession is Pyro Kinetic at only level 21. I'm fixing to graduate so will have that as my armor set and I also bought a set of 5b plates. Been doing some research for progressing my character past my newbie armor. I learned Evade is of upmost importance, but so far my Evader is only level 4. I feel like that's a skill that's just going to go up slowly as I continue to hunt. I also stumbled across the Cyrene armor sets while looking up the other planets. Not only do they look really badass, but as I progress through the missions they eventually start offering a set bonus to Evade. Is this something worth focusing on? Will the drops I need like Tail Tips and Crystal Pollen for the first Paneleon set drop off lower level maturities, or only off the higher ones I won't be able to kill? I understand it's probably going to be an endless grind and take forever, but it seems like a nice goal to work towards. If I'm going to be hunting and spending PED anyways I might as well be working toward something.

Tail tips mostly come from weak paneleons, the 80hp ones, paneleon pristine can drop from any maturity

completely unrealistic. most of these missions need you to put it in the amount of value in total (TT+MU) that the set is worth on the open market, which means its essentially the same as buying it. so farming for the items needed is a bad idea as the return you get has to be paid into the item in the end anyway. that means you would be FAR better off farming anything you can farm profitably (if there even is such a thing for a low level player, which there is not) and saving up the money to either just buy the components or the armor directly.

You came to play , so grind it out for the armor.
Welcome to Entropia and best of luck to you.

Grinding it out is always 'at least' as expensive as buying it as you could have sold the materials for that MU. Whether you value the skill gain and the adventure on the way as higher than just the MU from selling is a decision you have to make.

My 2 cents: while buying it outright might be cheaper, I always encourage people to try and get your own items... when possible, of course. Firstly, since your Evade is so low, you would only benefit from grinding in that regard. Secondly, as others pointed out, the "adventure" part might be worthwhile: you get to see more places, perhaps meet new people, learn where the mobs are etc. And thirdly, you never know, you may get a nice global or two out of it.
Unfortunately there is no "Buyer" skill or profession :D.

Seem's like you were provided all the information needed to make educated decision. 👏👏👏

Best of luck on your journey! 👍

Come to Cyrene. It's a fantastic planet for low level hunting. It's great to have a big goal to work towards while you're at it! Lots of daily missions and a helpful community.

I forgot to add it's worth checking out the Cyrene Dreams website. Lots of good info on missions and mobs etc
